POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I think at this point i have finally finished designing this poster, A Taste of the Caribbean featuring some of the tastiest foods from the islands (although many from Jamaica). This is something I have been meaning to do, to house the repository of Caribbean characters I’ve illustrated along the way. I’ll be sending this to the printers and cannot wait to get my hands on the final version. Will keep you posted once I’m good with the quality of the design, and she will go up on the shop for purchase ( follow @sophupshop so stay posted!)Thank yall for the input. If there are key foods that are missing, please continue to send them my way and I’ll (eventually) design a Part II to this.#jamaicanfood #caribbeanfood #torontosmallbusiness #toronto #sophupshop taken in Toronto, Canada by @sophupshop

🇯🇲 A FUNDRAISER FOR JAMAICA 🇯🇲

The Jamaican breakfast raised plenty of us. She’s savoury and sweet. The fried dumplings, ackee and saltfish, plantain, callaloo, banana… those foods are home. This ‘Good Mawning’ mug celebrates that. A reminder of home.

From November 7-22, 100% of the proceeds will go to Food for the Poor Jamaica. Every mug purchased sends food, water, and supplies to families recovering from Hurricane Melissa. You might be in Toronto or London…but you can still show up for the island.

P.S. For our friends in the U.S., you’re welcome to purchase as well. Prices include the extra import costs (thank you, tariffs 😅). Small business, big heart and we appreciate your support.

Jamaica is rebuilding and we’re rebuilding with her. Shop link in bio. 🇯🇲

#JamaicaStrong #HurricaneMelissaRelief #CaribbeanDiaspora #ShopWithPurpose taken in Toronto, Ontario by @sophupshop

TORONTO 🚨🚨🚨 We’ve been holding off as we’ve been waiting on the official confirmation. It seems that the Toronto Junior Carnival will be postponed to Sunday July 19th in light of the air quality concerns + weather forecast. Given that we have prior commitments, sophupshop will not be vending at the event this weekend. I know the organization is doing what it can to make the best of this situation. I hope that Sunday will see many of you supporting the kiddies in having a wonderful carnival, please do go out and see them shine!! They are the future and it’s special to see them carry the carnival torch.

If you need your sophupshop fix, be sure to check out our online shop. Worldwide shipping + local pick up options are available.

A big thank you to all the friends who continue to support us, be it reposting our content, purchasing goodies, spreading the word to your friends, or coming out irl to say hi. Every msg, voice note, comment means a lot. 🫶🏾

I want to extend a BIG shout out to everyone who came out this weekend to either the @torontocarnival.ca Official Carnival Launch and the @blackqueensofdurham 2026 Summer Market! It truly means a lot to me to be able to bring things *out* of the group chat and meet IRL, share a kiki and learn about how you connect with @sophupshop . I get to see the excitement and transmute all of that energy back into what we create, so thank you.🫶🏾

Cheers to both the Toronto Carnival organizers and the BQOD for creating spaces for us. You continue to support and pour into local Black small businesses in real ways that are truly meaningful. 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾

And finally cheers to my fellow vendors. Y’all are doing the damn thing. I know it’s not easy. To witness the things y’all have brought to life and the determination and passion you share, I’m continually inspired. May we small businesses all win big.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Here are *some* of the other vendors worth checking out:
