I have a lot to learn...but my first ever RC drift car is about to be dialed! 🔥

I am kicking off a new video series following my journey into RC drifting as a complete noob, including tuning my very first setup with the Team Associated DC10.

We got a chance to put our @knightcustoms Rally Course Markers to the test! We threw them down on our smooth concrete drift course, then our normal brushed concrete driveway. Filled with sand they’re approx 1/2lb, so they actually DO stay in place very well given what the alternative is. We print these from PETG and they have TPU feet for added grip!

New! @knightcustoms RC Rally Course Markers. Printed out of orange PETG with a hollow center and screw on cap, TPU feet for added grip and a little more impact absorption. Took the @element_rc Cattleman bodied BK3 out today when I was running errands. The @tekinracing electronics in this thing are so smooth! Once this body gets hammered, I’m 98% sure this will become a Project IJ. Body armor, @frontrunnerau rack, @kchilites lightbar, RotoPax, and hood are all from @knightcustoms .

UPDATE- our FDH Scale Audio Systems are now printed out of PETG to handle more severe outdoor temps. We also found a slightly thicker microfiber suede to upholster our enclosures in too!
Simple 2 wire installation- 8-24v input and Bluetooth connectivity to your phone, it doesn’t get much easier to add some awesome interior scale detail with a 1/10 car stereo.

Detailing scale accessories may seem like a chore, but most items only require 1 or 2 colors. For example on Goat the Trail Dog from @knightcustoms, we used tan spray paint over the center of him, then brown model paint for his body and detailed with a fine point black sharpie. He is printed at .16 layer height, so we didn’t bother with any sanding or filler.
