Michael Jackson, Smooth Criminal - Concept poster 🔪

I’ve wanted to create a poster for Thriller for so so long (it is coming, right after this one), but in the meantime I wanted to make something for Smooth Criminal, this is one of my all time favorite videos from Michael (1st being Thriller), but also one of my favorite songs!

I’ve obviously watched the movie Michael (twice actually) and LOVED it, although it has its flaws when it comes to how his story was portrayed, I love how great of an hommage for his music it is, how highlighted his talent is and what a creative person he was! Watching the movie made me want to create a few movie posters for some songs as he has always imagined his music videos to be short films, and also I’ve never created anything related to him while I’ve always loved his music and I actually listen to him quite a lot, always have, so here we go 🤍

Bridgerton, Season 4 - Concept poster remake 🎭

I know, I know…This was long overdue, I myself cannot believe I’m posting it. To be honest I never thought this one would see the light of day. I’ve created the first version back in March/April 2021 and I promised to update it once the actress for Sophie would be announced, well…..here I am quite some time later, all my apologies.

But I do have a few things to say and I wanna take this opportunity to say them.
First of all I’ll never thank enough all of you for all the love and support this poster got back then, and all the nice and sweet comments/dms/tweets etc… it got from lovely people asking to have this as the season’s poster, I cannot start to explain how much it meant to me.

And maybe you’ll see where this is going…… yes, absolutely, I cannot explain how shocked and hurt I was to see Netflix literally rip off my work to make their poster. I mean yeah it’s not a copy of it but the similarities are over the roof. I just wanted to wait and see what they had done with the show, because after all I myself took the idea from a scene in the book, which is also a key scene and so it would’ve been excepted. But what surprise was it when I saw that they absolutely did not use a balcony for the scene in the show and how different it was in terms of decor, and so lmao what justifies the poster being sooo close to what I created few years ago?? Nothing.
Btw it’s only fair I used pics from their posters and added the wisteria too, isn’t it??

This will also explain my next words : this is my very last creation related to Bridgerton.
I have loved this show since day 1 despite all the drama and all the things they just changed sometimes for no reasons, and I have loved creating things related to it, but I am as an artist just so tired to see small artists’ art being so disgustingly stolen like this, and I do not wish to see it happen again so I will no longer create anything from this show.

I hope you guys understand, but I also thank you for all the support I got on my artworks (this includes the season 1 & 2 posters) 🫶🏻

Sabrina Carpenter, Tears - Concept poster 🩸

Oh how it’s been soooooo long since I’ve last 1) created something 2) posted here! I’ve been starting lots of artworks the past year but never actually had the heart to finish one….. Until October this year arrived. Here I am with another slasher/horror movie inspired poster for none other than Sabrina Carpenter’s Tears music video! I just love her videos, love to create stuff inspired by horror so I’m rather proud of this last creation.

If you have been following me for a while now, you know how much I love Halloween, October etc… so this year as I am getting mentally better, I wanna try and create/post more artworks related to that! Once again no promises, but stay tuned!!!

Also you might have noticed the layout, DA of my account changed a bit the past few months… I needed to try new things 🫶🏻

Halloween ‘24 - Concept poster 🎃 👻

Happy Halloween you guysss!!!! You know I would never miss a Halloween, even as busy as I can get!!
Meet the baroness of the Tortured Poets Department, Taylor! Yes I’ve decided she would be my muse this year again, I had this whole concept of a scary baroness, countess with a victorian/gothic manor in mind. AND as I always say, to me green is such a hard color to work with so I wanted to challenge myself and add this spooky green vibe!

Hope you guys will like it! Don’t hesitate to support it if you do 🫶🏻

PS : a tiktok for this artwork is in the works!

Sabrina Carpenter, Taste - Concept poster 🔪🩸

The last time I’ve created something about Sabrina was 2018, 2018!!!! I can’t believe it took me this long to create anything again while her discography is full of cinematic gems.
But this time 1) the song is an absolute banger 2) Jenna Ortega is involved in the music video and you guys know how much I love her 3) this video is a tribute to slasher/horror movies (the kill bill and psycho references gagged me) and you guys also know how much I love this genre!!!

I’m so obsessed with this video honestly I had so many ideas I would’ve created many posters if only I had the time, but nonetheless I’ve created an alternative (and simpler) version as well as the original one AND as I did for Billy The Kid I’ve also created a VHS concept. I might create VHS, and other products alongside my posters more often now as it’s just so fun to make!

Hope you guys like it 🫶🏻
Do not hesitate to share and support if you did!

Taylor Swift, Long Live - Concept poster 🐉🏰

As you may or may not know, Taylor and her team decided yesterday to cancel the 3 concerts in Vienna due to terrorist threats, and as sad as it is for everyone, it was the best decision since the absolute worst would’ve happened, and the cancellation prevented that. Nonetheless it was so touching to see all the Swifties today in Vienna gather together to share some love for Taylor and her music but also especially how Long Live already was an anthem for the fandom, Taylor and her band, but is even more now, so I wanted to pay a little tribute to this display of love, girlhood, and support, art is just a wonderful way to express yourself 🫶🏻

I used some crumbs from my Speak Now TV poster to keep a little theme ❤️‍🩹

Billy The Kid - Concept poster 🐴🏜️

I started watching this show that I love SO much about a year ago and been wanting to make a poster ever since but couldn’t find time nor motivation…. Until last night.

Tom has been cast recently in a new project (people we meet on vacation, I adore the book btw) and I’m so proud of him that made me wanna celebrate and thought it was finally time I made this poster!

As I’m slowly coming back on my feet I wanna go back to the process of creating carefully. So I stayed rather simple on this one, we are still far from the huge and long projects I used to work on and deliver but for now I love just working on simpler stuff as I’m trying to get my technique back, key word being FUN, I just wanna have fun creating again and that is all that matters.

I inspired myself by looking at western movie posters because I love the vibe so much and it fits the theme, I looked at very old and more recent movie posters and ended up making what I had in mind so I’m rather proud 🫶🏻 I’ve added a lil VHS design for the fun of it! And I filmed a bit the process of the poster, it’ll be up hopefully soon on Tiktok as I’m trying to be a bit more present there!

as a final note, I just loooove Michael Hirst’s series everytime I’m just blown away (The Tudors being my fav ever EVEEER) and Billy The Kid is just phenomenal and Tom is absolutely wonderful in it too (looove the guy), have a look at it if you ever like cowboy stuff (i know I dig it)

Dua Lipa, Training Season, Glastonbury - Concept poster 🧜‍♀️ 🏛️

Oh boy I’ve missed creating something about Dua…. It’s been quite some time indeed.
She recently performed at Glastonbury (incredible set btw) and I came across a picture of her (last slide of the post) performing Training Season or basically her entrance, and it reminded me of those antique/mythology paintings so I turned her into a sea goddess, and also turns out there were rumors of her playing Megara in the Hercules live action so that’s absolutely not on purpose but quite a timing I must say hahah

Molière, Le Spectacle Musical - Concept poster 🎭🪶

🇬🇧 - After discovering the show’s aesthetic, the musical theatre troupe, watching the show multiple times, and those who’ve known me here for a while just KNOW how I am but I had to throw myself into this new project of creating my own souvenir piece from this musical that is just fantastic, full of people as incredible as one can be and so talented.
This time my creative process is a bit more special to me as it’s the first I’m ever using my own pictures 🫶🏻
I went back to watch the show in Strasbourg on April and 600 photos later there I was creating this poster that took me weeks to finish and present to you as one of the works I’m the most proud of!
——

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes 🐍 - Coriolanus Snow concept character poster

Look, i don’t know what’s gotten into me lately, my inspiration, creativity and motivation are back so might as well take advantage of it!
As I already stated here few years back with my Katniss artwork, I’ve never really been a Hunger Games fan, although i’ve tried so hard for yeaaars haha but i have to say this book, and Tom and Rachel convinced me to give the saga a try again, and I just looove this book so much, and am really excited for the movie as well!!!
I thought why not make few character posters instead of a movie poster for a change, and it was truly challenging but a lot of fun! So here’s Coryo, you can guess who the second poster will be about haha

🌹 As always if you like it and wanna support my work, please give it a like, a comment, take a few seconds to share it around, i’d really appreciate it, and it would truly help me 🫶🏻
