Thank you Ancient Moderne for having me at your West Hollywood location to discuss the beautiful pieces you carry at your location. So great hearing about the history behind these one of a kind antique pieces, stone troughs, ceramic pottery, and more. I can’t wait to get some of these stunning pieces into more of my clients homes!

Also thank you to Sorsi Select for the delicious wine tasting, great to learn about all the wines you carry. Such a wonderful event, glad I was able to be part of it!

Lately, we’ve been thinking a lot about what makes a gathering memorable.

It’s rarely just the wine or the setting.

More often, it’s the pace of the evening, the warmth of the room, the conversations that unfold naturally, and the openness of the people sharing it.

As we continue shaping Sorsi, these are the things we’re holding closest.

Before the conversations, before the music, before the room begins to fill, there are always a hundred small details that nobody sees.

Bottles opened.
Glasses prepared.
Stories revisited.
One last look around the room.

Some of our favorite moments happen before a gathering even begins.

A few scenes from an earlier gathering as we continue shaping what Sorsi can become.

We’ve always loved the moments that happen after the main event.

The espresso that somehow turns into another hour at the table.
The conversations that soften.
The feeling that nobody is rushing to leave yet.

Some of the best parts of gathering happen in the in-between moments.

That’s a feeling we think about often with Sorsi.

A glass in hand, conversations you didn’t plan,
and a room that starts to feel smaller in the best way.
these are the moments we come back for.

We’re already thinking about the next gathering.

A slow evening in Italy.

A few wines, a small group, and a room that came together in the right way.

We’re keeping the next one just as tight.

Sorsi was never just about wine.

The older we get, the more we realize luxury isn’t really about “things.”
It’s time lingering around the table. A bottle opened without needing a special occasion. Conversations that stretch late into the night. The warmth of feeling fully present with the people you love.

Some of our favorite memories in Italy were built this way; slowly, together, one glass at a time.

That’s the feeling we’re building Sorsi around.
A little slower. A little warmer. A little more alive. 🇮🇹🍷

An evening designed to slow things down.

On May 15th, we’re gathering a small group at @ancient_moderne in West Hollywood for a guided introduction to lesser-known Italian wines. Shared the way they’re meant to be: thoughtfully, and without rush.

A mix of conversation, atmosphere, and discovery.
Nothing formal, nothing forced.

If it feels like something you’d enjoy, details are in our bio.

In the beginning of this year, Sorsi wasn’t even a name - just a dream of what could be. Somehow, it’s already grown faster than we could have imagined.

We started Sorsi with a simple desire: to create something with intention, something lasting, something that matters. Wine felt like the perfect vessel ~ because wine is history, it’s culture, it’s a moment shared.

This past weekend we poured our very first tasting at @blvkbook and the feedback filled us with so much gratitude. We can’t wait to host more tastings, and soon, invite you into our own events.

Here’s to beginnings, and to the many glasses yet to be shared. 🍷

Three centuries. One hillside courtyard. And a family whose story is woven into the vines.

Villa Medici began as a humble osteria in the 1700s, where travelers paused for hearty meals and local wine before crossing the Adige. Over generations, it evolved—from a countryside inn to a family estate producing wines that made their way across Europe.

Today, the villa still stands, now under the care of an architect-turned-winemaker and his family. With each harvest, they honor their roots while shaping the future. Their daughter, a newly minted chemical engineer, is already pouring her heart into what’s next.

This is the kind of legacy we love to sip to. 🍷

Meet the founders behind the story in every bottle.
She’s from America, he’s from Italy — and together, they’re blending two worlds into one vision.

One rooted in California creativity, the other in timeless Italian tradition.
This is more than a wine company.
It’s a celebration of culture, connection, and moments worth savoring. 🍷🌍
