2025 tested me in ways no one could see & taught me that growth isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it’s surviving quietly, unlearning deeply, and finding love where you least expect it.
I reached goals I once thought were impossible, goals I had buried years ago. From the outside it looked like winning — but behind the scenes I was surviving things that broke me, changed me, and stripped me down.
This year showed me people for who they truly are. It taught me that applause can come from strangers, while silence can come from those you thought were close. That looking “good” doesn’t always mean being okay.
I lost parts of myself, unlearned patterns that never protected me, and slowly found my way back to who I actually am. And when I was close to giving up on people — life surprised me with a love that reminded me what healthy feels like.
Painful? Yes. Transformative? Absolutely.
This year didnt arrive softly but it made me stronger to prepare me for what comes next.
Thanking everyone who was there for me this year! taken in Johannesburg, South Africa by @soso_impact
