She said yes, ya’ll!

If you know me then you know my life has always been filled with so much pain, disappointment, & adversity.

But when this woman came into my world, it made up for all the hurt in my soul and gave me a new light in my life.

She gave me our amazing son, helped me see clearer, & showed me what it’s like to truly be loved by someone.

I’m honored to call you my Fiancé, Chinda.

We shared this private moment with Sokhai & he was the one to take these photos for us. I’m so proud.

I never wanted to be a barber. I never wanted to own a shop, but other people recognized my talents had vision for me that I didn't have for myself. Ly Chan, this post is dedicated to you.

While my own mother failed me many times in life, you stepped up and filled that void from the moment I met you.

You never asked for anything. All you did was give.

You gave me the greatest gift of all. You embraced your role as Sokhai’s grandmother and you showered him with love.

That’s all I ever needed from you or let alone anyone, but even after that you still had room in your heart for me. You always made me feel welcomed, you always cooked for me, you thought and spoke highly of me to your family, & you made it easy to truly love your daughter.

I’m sad that you’re gone and that Khai is left without a grandma but at the same time I find a sense of peace knowing that you’re in a better place now and you no longer have to suffer.

I’m extremely honored & thankful to be brought on as the Mayor of SF official photographer to capture Inauguration week.

The optimism and hope that’s in the air is inspiring to witness.

Daniel has been creating change in the community for years now. The only difference now is that there are camera’s documenting his every move.

Looking forward to seeing real change in the city under your leadership!
