So. No matter how much you animate. I've done/been in/made a TON of stuff. I think. A ball test is fair. Un-rigged. First pass. Don't screw up.

You either know it. Or. Go figure it out and try again. No hard feelings.

I dated a few performers. I asked one once. "What are you thinking about on stage is it magic? Magical?" She...they replied, "I repeat a mantra. 'Don't f### up'. 'Don't f### up'. 'Don't f### up'."

Same. Exactly the same.

I get mice about once a week. Between the cockroach infestations. Low income housing. When I get the “centipede dream” it’s usually a mouse crawling up my arm. I crush it to death and bash it against the wall.

When I was traveling across the desert. You’re exhausted. Rattlesnakes can’t tell if you’re dead. Young ones. So. It feels the same. That’s where I learned it.

Day 116. My Bike Died. Phoenix is a dangerous place. Especially when you consider we have less people than New York and LA but the same amount of crime and just, bad judgement. Also. The positive marketing for Phoenix ends with Governor Hobbs. Go ahead Google her, I’ll wait.

That same marketing machine is what makes Kansas City look good as I used to also get full cans of soda thrown at me going to work. Diversity. 🙄

Jesus says turn the other cheek. Just make sure you hit record first.

Happy Indigenous People's Day and I'm sh00ting white people. For. Class. Wait--. Lemme put down what AI told me to put.

In my best 'apple' voice. "Today. We honor Indigenous People's by reflecting on the rich culture and histories.." But omitting forced assimilation, kids buried under boarding schools, and genocide. And. Just like Palestine. A second and third Nakbah in America. To clear the land for Western expansion and create Hollywood. At the same time putting Chinese into death camps after building the railroad in California. Ah. History.

A screenwriter said I drank the Kool-Aid. Really? That's probably the whitest thing someone's told me this week. And. I spent all weekend in German and British cultural events.

I'm also half Scottish. Growing up between two cultures that neither were proud of "who" I am. I became. Anyways. I don't just know my history to project white guilt on some ignorant cliche of a screenwriter. I think. Its humbling in the best way. That. Literally anything I've done has come from someone that sat through winters where the US Army killed off all the food. Forced marches off our ancestral land. Imprisonment without trials. That, I've internalized. Its not Kool-Aid. Its who I am mixed with the struggles of who I'd like to be.

I went to Pete's Fish and Chips. It's closed. A bunch more Glendale businesses are closed. So. Realizing I make Mobile Home money I went to George and Dragon. The uppity crowd was there. It's fine. I went to see Onslaught. NO AMOUNT OF TOKENS WILL REPLACE HUMANS JUST ASK PROJECT MAVEN.

I watched it on premiere week and left about 5 minutes in. I couldn't describe it. I waited until the theater run was over out of respect for the film and filmmakers. As, one should because even if you don't agree with the politics of AI and all the "they're taking our jerbs." In my best South Park voice. Films. Cost a lot. Even s--- films. I love s--- films. I could waste a whole weekend just watching s--- films. Haha.

The thing I didn't like about Onslaught. Is. You immediately knew when the human stopped. CGI when being introduced was the same. Jurassic Park? Right? Had a lot of 'this is s---' moments. But. At the time it was spun as...the future.

So. The problem I had was...the beats felt off and the shots were like kitty litter commercials. I've built some LLM and programmed some "AI storyboards just gimme a sentence stuff."
The future. Sucks. A24 did buy some partnership with Google Gemini to build an AI storyboarding app.

I'd rather scroll the Netflix UI. Watch a bunch of trailers and then close the app. I do the same thing to Kanopy. Hey Kanopy.
