POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We affirm that every child deserves an education no matter their past.

Education may be trivial to some but for justice-impacted youth, it is vital to breaking the cycle of recidivism and building a brighter future.

Education: Breaking the Cycle of Reoffending

Education changes lives. For youth in correctional centers, it’s more than just learning—it’s a second chance.

📌 Why it matters:

Creates opportunities.

Reduces the risk of reoffending.

Empowers youth to rewrite their stories.

At Alabaster Initiative, we believe every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and transform. Together, we can make this a reality.

✨ Let’s use education to build brighter futures.

⛳ Week 7 of 7

It was really difficult to keep our eyes dry as we concluded our 7-week journey with brilliant minds at the Oregun Special Boys Correctional centre. It was a moment of vulnerability, laughter and soberness as each facilitator opened up to the boys about their lives, including the not-so-pretty parts.

Practical life questions were asked, brotherly counsel was given, all with the intention of equipping them with the right mindset to be champs in life 🏆.

Special shout-out to our physical and remote volunteers who consistently show up on our journey of impact 🎊.

The stars of this whole show really were the boys🌟. It was inspiring to see their commitment and dedication to the program. We believe in you and can't wait to hear of the awesome things you'll accomplish.🚀

Finally, we'd like to acknowledge someone who has never appeared in any of our photos or posts but has been pulling the strings behind the scenes...
Thank you, God.

More projects coming up soon...
