Two lenses I have used for shoots lately.

Laowa 10mm f/2.8 - SOLID lens and probably my next purchase. I’m a huge wide angle shooter and using the is was almost like a dream. Amazing autofocus for such a wide lens and getting better perspectives of your shots. @laowa.cine

Tamron 40-400mm f/4.5-6.3 - (I know I mislabeled it in the carousel lol) This is a phenomenal lens. I’ve truthfully never used a telephoto lens due to the fact that my work never needed it. But my buddy wanting his proposal filmed gave me the best opportunity to test it out! Don’t think I would cop but would forsure rent if I needed one. @tamronamericas

Creative Blocks Suck!

It’s moments like these as creatives that feel soul draining. Wanting to create but having no inspiration, motivation, or creative energy to put something together. It’s normal. We all go through it. Just keep pushing. Your best work comes from random moments in life.

One of the biggest things that separates good content from memorable content is having a clear look and feel.

Before you ever pick up a camera, ask yourself one question: How do I want people to feel when they watch this? That answer will shape almost every creative decision you make, from your camera movement and pacing to your music and color grading.

Music plays a huge role in creating emotion. When your soundtrack supports your visuals, it reinforces the feeling and message you’re trying to communicate. Then your visuals bring it all together. Color grading, whether it’s warm, cool, soft, or dramatic, helps define the mood your audience experiences.

In this video, I’m using my own LUTs to create that look. I put together a free trial pack of LUTs and presets if you want to try them out for yourself.

Wine - Nectar of the GODS

8000 years of a fermented glass of god juice.

I’ve been really exploring styles of filmmaking and ones that can be more informative yet also have a touch of a commercial feel. This is an experimental piece that I’ve wanted to try.

Unused footage from my inspo desk video.

I guess one important thing you always have to know as a creative is when to cut certain things to make the final end product better. Maybe these could have made it? 🤷🏻‍♂️. Either way, I’m happy with the outcome.
