Some fruits fall exactly when they’re ripe. 🍑

We met Rob while stage managing and welcoming him for his set. He played a phenomenal mix filled with soul, jazz-funk, disco and latin grooves, the kind of music that instantly speaks to the heart. What followed felt just as natural: an instant musical connection with a passionate, down-to-earth selector whose talent I somehow hadn’t discovered yet.

Soulastico is a young selector with a deep-rooted love for old-school soul, funk, disco, Brazilian grooves and jazzy deep house. His sets radiate warmth and rhythm, built on rich melodies and timeless grooves. Driven by genuine passion and an infectious enthusiasm behind the decks, he creates feel-good moments that linger long after the last track fades out. Blending classics with deeper cuts, he keeps the energy flowing while staying true to the music's spirit. A true soul connaisseur driven by his mission to ensure more human connection through music.

For this special back-to-back, we bring together two selectors with a shared love for groove, soul and dancefloor energy.

Soulastico brings an irresistible blend of old-school soul, funk, disco, Brazilian grooves and jazzy deep house. As a true soul connoisseur, his sets are driven by warmth, rhythm and pure musical joy — the kind of sound that connects people and keeps the dancefloor smiling from start to finish.

Next to him: Matallas, an international DJ and producer from Chile, based in Madrid. Influenced by 90s garage house and rooted in jazz, disco and funk, he brings the heat from the Madrid underground straight to our woodland haven. With 10 years of DJ experience, releases on London-based Pogo House Records and sets across Chile and Europe, Matallas brings a global sound and serious dancefloor experience to Boslicht.

Together, Soulastico and Matallas will take us on a groove-heavy journey full of soul, rhythm and underground energy.
