After a string of releases on Nyte Music, the Soulfuledge & Nyte Moods Band collaborative force shifts through the gears once more as their upcoming single ‘Quite Simply’ shows another soulful string to their bow.

Built around a deliberately jaunty backdrop of percussive hits, taps & clangs things are sent soaring through the clouds as the iconic sounds of the 106 does a lot of the melodic heavy lifting whilst it’s bassline nibbles, chews & prods all the right places on the dancefloor.

Keeping the needle firmly on soulful but with enough punch to knock over the stubbornest of disbelievers, the sweet, catchy & definitely hooky vocals from TNMB provide that front & centre vibe we’ve come to expect. taken in Manchester, United Kingdom by @soulfuledge

Colourful's Track of the Week is "Summer in the City" by Soulfuledge & The Nyte Moods Band featuring Sara Rhodes 🎵

Originally released as an instrumental in 2019, "Summer in the City" gets a fresh vocal rework in 2026, with The Nyte Moods Band bringing live jazz-funk instrumentation and Sara Rhodes adding her soulful vocals.

The track blends soulful house with jazz-funk, built around smooth basslines, crisp percussion and a warm, feel-good groove.

From the morning rush and busy streets to the slower pace of a summer evening, the song paints a picture of city life in the warmer months. It’s nostalgic, uplifting and easy to get lost in.

Catch it all week on Colourful Radio at 8AM & 5PM (UK Time):

Taking the stage for the third successive time, Soulfuledge & The Nyte Moods Band fire up the Delorian and head on back to 2019 breathing a new lease of life into the sumptuously soulful ‘Blues That Soothe’.

Originally featured on the label’s debut LP ‘Nyte Manoeuvres’, it’s instantly recognisable fusion of deep-set Rhodes against shimmery, sunshine packed steel drums work in perfect harmony with the low, proddy bassline and subtle yet tappy percussive vibe; think a 5 care-free minute skip along a sandy coastline and you’re halfway there.

Picked up and played through the summer of that year, Soulfuledge always felt like something was missing from the track… a Morecambe without it’s Wise if you would, musically it ticked all the boxes yet something prominent was missing, so fast forward to 2026 and enter stage left The Nyte Moods Band as their hypnotically smooth vocals add that final piece to the jigsaw.

Blues That Soothe is now the song it was always intended to be… it just took a little while longer to get there!

Soulfuledge & The Nyte Moods Band are at it again!

Following their collective creative toe-dip into the soulful house World with ‘Why We Fall’ The Nyte Moods Band are lending their delicately smooth & uplifting tones to ‘The Garden’, a warm, soothing late-night jam created with love to enrich those hazy early summer evenings.

Packed with lush Rhodes wobbles, fizzy organ riffs, an almost perfectly tamed bassline that niggles & pokes in all the right places & a flute solo sent from Eden itself to tame the stubbornest of hearts...

Yep, this is one to play, enjoy & fully embrace when the sun begins to set or starts to rise!

On presale… like, err, now! ✨

Following his recent LP collaboration with Hannah Clare, Soulfuledge is back on Nyte Music with his latest musical interpolation entitled ‘The Seasons’ – let’s cut to the chase, it’s one for the sun worshipers, the cool spring night dancers and those that simply like to get down when the dark nights descend.

Laced with sumptuous Rhodes, playful piano keys and a niggly ‘almost grumpy yet hidden in plain sight’ bassline, there’s extra additions of Moog, flute tones and a hearty smattering of various synths, sqwarks, tones & backdrop riffs… yeah, it’s a joyful bit of music!

Following a succession of singles through 2023 & 2024, Soulfuledge & Hannah Clare are proud to unveil their debut LP, ‘At Sunset Road’ - a hazy, soulful journey through the kaleidoscopic feel-good sounds of Nyte Music.

Drawing on a variety of moods and aimed directly at the soul, ‘At Sunset Road’ smoothly shifts through the gears and tip-toes along an assortment of musical influences from the upbeat, inspiring vibe of ‘Rise’ & the headsy, glitterball disco-days of ‘Sweat Is On the Dancefloor’ through to the warm & intoxicatingly smooth ‘Pure Love’ and the catchy, playful tones of ‘One Step’.

‘At Sunset Road’ is out now across all your favourite download & streaming platforms 🪩🌐🪩🌐
