dear diary,
there’s something so profound about change, becoming someone you actually like being. I remember feeling grateful for the pain growing up, like it was a badge of honor to be okay with suffering.
While pain is inevitable, being miserable was not a life I wanted to live. I remember waking up feeling like the worst thing I could do, like breathing was a chore, and this world had nothing good to offer.
While I hold space for the versions of me it took to build who I am today, I thank the stars I get to be freely me, that my self world doesn’t depend on anyone else.
I love that now I get to express and articulate my emotions without begging for someone to save me. I love that now I can dance and sing and love without feeling guilty for being human. I love how deeply I can feel things without it drowning me. I love that I will always be learning and always experiencing.
Allowing life to flow through me has saved me, allowing the depths of inner knowing to guide me has set me free. One or four chapters wont ever define your whole book, but it will add flavor ❤️‍🔥
