this season of motherhood has been one of my all time favs. bare feet bike riding and scootering up and down the block. running back and forth between neighbors houses. chalk art. barbies everywhere. this is their childhood — and I’m so dang grateful it gets to be like this. by @soulsarrr

God really knew what He was doing ♥️

this proposal was a special one to me 💍✨🥹🥲

the LOVE and the JOY was overwhelming. I have been praying for Han & the man she would one day marry for YEARS! throughout the seasons of waiting & singleness — Han’s trust in God remained unwavering. And in His perfect timing, God so kindly gave her the man she had prayed for and the kind of love story only He can take credit for. what an answered prayer we are living in! all thanks to you, Jesus 🕊️

A few film gems from one of the cutest shoots of the entire summer! ✨Instant serotonin hit✨ I legitimately think golden hour sessions with golden retrievers may be the cure to depression.

Hands down one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever witnessed 🥲

I am so grateful to have had privilege of capturing this special moment for their family! I remember the day Lauren got the call about the girls, and seeing all that God’s done since that day is unbelievable. Thank you God for this precious family! 4th of July film dump 🎞️ 📸🇺🇸

tried to crop & salvage what I could from my broken cam’s last roll! the roll may have got “ruined” but the memories & the moments still are all there. looking at these light leaked photos makes them look a million years old and like I’m pulling them out of the garage to show my grand kids. makes me nostalgic just looking at these and it only happened last week 🥲🥹

almost forgot this was the whole point 🥲

a sweet full circle moment happened to me today.

Here are some super random 7:30 am test shots of a morning with my angels brought to you my old film camera from high school (first camera I ever owned 🥹) that my dad randomly just found in the garage, dusted off and brought back to life because I had 2 of film cameras tragically break back to back in 2 weeks 📸🎞️🫠☠️

This old buried treasure of a cam I had honestly written off as no good and “not the vibeeee” and tried to sell at the camera store until the kind man showed me it’s just as good if not better than the trendy old ae-1’s I was eyeing.

Little did I know…I actually had what I needed all along. I didn’t need to buy a camera. I had one all along. Buried in the garage.

I had been researching other cameras, asking around from other photographer friends who are amazing at film, and dreaming of cameras I wanted but couldn’t afford.

And in God’s kindness, He returned back the very first camera I started on. The camera I first fell in love with taking pictures on. It’s not trendy. It’s not really cool looking. But it does the job & captures things like it did back in the day. It makes me nostalgic and feels like “me”. Both the old me and who I’m becoming.

God has been teaching me so many lessons in the last few weeks and in this season He’s been inviting me to “say yes” and step out in faith in all the places and spaces that bring me fear and anxiety because I’m so scared to mess it up. He is setting me free with each and every “yes” and act of obedience🪽

I believe God does some of his best work on me through the roller coaster ride called the “creative process”🎢

With each and every “yes”, I feel him a working on me & refining me from the inside out. Inviting me to dream again. To go for it. To approach things with a light and child-like heart. He is teaching me when you create with the creator of the universe — there’s no room for fear, doubt or insecurity. You can only operate out of a place of immense joy, gratitude and love for the gift of life and the people on the other side of the lens. It’s not a performance.
