Hi, I’m Alaysia 🤍 so many new faces here & I wanted to share a little about me, my journey & what led me here todayYears ago, I saw another designer doing wedding stationery & signage and remember thinking, that is SO cool. Like… what a dream job! But I never once thought it could be me.At the time, I was in college working toward a career in hospitality management, pregnant, and very much on a completely different path. Stationery felt like something you admire and move on from. Not something you actually go after.Years went by, I continued to admire — then life kind of forced my hand.Within a couple of months, I lost my job and my grandfather. And instead of trying to jump back into something familiar, I just went for it. I started teaching myself stationery, said yes before I felt ready, and didn’t really stop to overthink it — or think about it at all, if I’m being honest.I’m really lucky to have a fiancé who has supported every dream and random idea I’ve ever had. And there have been a lot of them.Some might say I’m a serial hobbyist. Crafting, sewing, drawing, painting, building, designing — if something creative caught my interest, I’d immediately go out, buy everything for it, focus on it for a month… and then move on (hello ADHD???).My friends joke that I’ve probably started 10+ business ideas and changed direction just as fast.But this one was different. I didn’t get bored — I felt more sure the deeper I went. It didn’t feel like a phase. It felt like home.If you’re new here, welcome. With time ticking before guests arrived, I left my team behind.While they continued bringing the seating chart to life, I stepped away to style one of my favorite parts of the day—the invitation flat lay.One of the biggest perks of having your stationer on-site is that no one knows your details better than the person who designed them.Of course, photographers create the magic behind these images, and planners are incredible at making sure every detail is ready. But when your stationer is there too, it becomes a collaboration. I can thoughtfully style every piece exactly as it was envisioned from the very beginning, making sure all of the little details we spent months designing are represented.For L & J, that meant bringing together their custom keepsake box, invitation folio, letterpress and embossed suite, hand-calligraphed details, custom postage created specifically for their wedding weekend, wax seals, vow books, and fresh florals from the wedding itself.These photos may only take a few minutes to capture, but they represent months of thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and intentional decisions that deserve to be documented just as beautifully as the wedding day itself.Next… back to the rooftop.Planning: @sundaysocialevents Calligraphy: @oflightandletters BTS Content: @amoreweddingcontent by @souly.co

Folios of every kind are having a moment right now.Bar books became one of the biggest statement pieces in 2026 wedding stationery details, but invitation folios are having their moment tooSo before we ever offered them to a client, we spent the winter teaching ourselves how to make them. This was our in-house prototype—a chance to test construction, proportions, materials, and all of the tiny details that no one sees but make all the difference.It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t for a client. It was simply practice.And that’s something I don’t think people see enough. Before we launch something new, we’ve usually spent months behind the scenes making mistakes so your wedding isn’t where we experiment.What started as a winter test run quickly evolved into one of the most detailed invitation suites we’ve ever created.If you’ve been following our July wedding series, you’ll get to see exactly where it led 🤍 by @souly.co

Water trickling, raindrops falling, lights twinkling under the moonlight on the beach side — night time pick up views for an escort display a girl could only dream of, until last night 🤍 Celebrating Lexi & Jack on Cape Cod during the 4th of July could not have been dreamierWhen @sundaysocialevents came to me and asked if I could make a freestanding waterfall, I immediately said yes without hesitation (in my head, I can do anything) excited and nervous all at once, we got to work. When you think about your wedding day, you probably picture walking down the aisle, celebrating with your favorite people, and finally seeing everything come together.You probably don’t picture this.People carrying 100–200lb walls up four flights of stairs to a rooftop.Bucket after bucket after bucket… hauling 30+ gallons of water from the ground floor just to fill one custom installation.Working in a Fourth of July heat advisory while racing a ceremony start time that wasn’t going to wait for us.And somehow making it all look like it was always meant to be there.The truth is, luxury weddings don’t just “come together.”They’re engineered, planned, built, transported, installed, adjusted, and problem-solved—often under pressure you never even realize exists.Because that’s exactly how it should feel for our couples.You deserve to spend your wedding morning soaking it all in with your favorite people—not wondering who’s carrying furniture, fixing a crooked sign, or figuring out why something isn’t working.That’s what you hire us for.This is only setup day.
