Hologram (SoundScars Version) is a powerful reinterpretation of the original song by the Swedish band Dynazty. Performed by SoundScars with guest vocalist Priscilla Leine, this version preserves the emotional core of the original while adding a more intimate and personal atmosphere. The song explores themes of loneliness, emptiness, and the search for genuine human connection, transforming vulnerability into strength through music. The collaboration brings a fresh perspective to Hologram, creating an intense and heartfelt tribute to the original composition.

The invitation of Priscilla Leine from @jardim_sonoro channel to contribute to give life to her book “Another Frequency” made me proud. The message of inner strength present in this song of @dynazty_official is very strong. I hope you enjoy this small tribute.

_______

Released in 2025, My Scars is the second album from the Sound Scars project and works as a direct dive into the marks that shaped Rubem Barreto's musical trajectory.

More than a cover album, the work presents itself as an exercise in reinterpretation: each track carries arrangements, timbres, and choices that expose the guitarist's creative "scars," always with personality and a departure from the obvious.

Production is once again handled by Celo Oliveira of Estúdio Kolera, a partner since Legacies, Rubem's own album. It features the participation of 12 guest vocalists, all from the brazilian scene.
