Heater Baby out today! link in my bio. This one has been more than three years in the making. Layer by layer, putting it down, picking it back up over the years. I think it was well worth it. Every time I came back to this one, I couldn’t help but feel like it had something special to it. Plus—when trusted friends say something is good, I listen. For two years it had no actual chorus or bridge, I figured I’d make it part of a compilation of demos. But here we are, it’s a lead single (in my mind at least) for an incoming project. I stuck a B-side track on the release which is an instrumental electronic song, just to keep people on their toes. I’m going to be bringing electronic music back into my published work, a practice which had lied dormant for a few years as I was obsessed with recording live instruments. ¢¢via @eatthelabel by @soundchildstudio

Danny has been a longtime collaborator and is one of the most talented producers and mix engineers we know. We’ve all had the pleasure of working on some great records together, so bringing our work under one roof felt like a natural next step.With Danny joining the team, we’re expanding the studio’s mixing and mastering services, combining our experience and increasing our capacity to help artists and producers finish records and bring their music into the world.
