Boris - Smile

Original 2008 Japanese pressing on Diwphalanx Records

Boxset - 2LP limited to 500 copies.

A lusciously composed album from start to finish- incorporating elements of doom metal and experimental compositions. Smile introduces a mix of old and new ideas from the band. A testament of the progressive sonic outlook while reflecting on elements of the past.

Honeywell - Industry

Front painted jacket with original inserts.

Who doesn't enjoy piercing and shrilling guitars engulfed in unrestricted energy matched politically with lyrcism engulfed in passion and despair..... especially like at 3:00am??? A 90s classic without a doubt, every listen is an extension of mind- an album that never grows old and very much relevant as it was then. Whether in a calm or rage-filled state, this album never ceases to amazing me. Honeywell.... forever.

Enon - High Society

Repress on Touch and Go, on black vinyl. Included a credits insert, all housed in a single jacket sleeve.

A band long gone, but never forgotten. I remember putting this on the weekends and every time, this record was always a blast to listen to. A band I remember discovering and to this day, their records are always in constant rotation. A unique synthy alternative album full of catch melodies and energetic tunes. Highly recommend! Hopefully a repress comes soon for all the folks in need of this classic.

Full of Hell - FOH Noise Collected Works

2020 release containing Vol. 1- 6 as well as other collected works.

6 Tape boxset limited to 400 copies (numbered).

Exciting "little" find, but make no mistake- its contents showcase a vast collection of FOH's noise series works and more. Do have the original tapes, but it was nice to be able to snatch the boxset.

Boris - The Thing Which Solomon Overlooked 3

Originally released in 2006 by the Belgian label “Conspiracy Records”.

Transparent blue vinyl, limited to 300 copies (sold at live venues only).

A band with a diverse array of releases spanning many decades, Boris is one of those bands that I always look forward to their releases. I was able to snatch a copy of the Solomon series and so glad I did. What better way to enjoy the rest of a Saturday evening than to listen to droning guitars toppled with reverb and solace.

Pile - You're Better Than This
[Exploding in Sound, 2015]
.
.
Black Vinyl Pressing
.
.
One of my all-time favorite bands from one of my favorite labels. Still remember the first time I heard them and soon after this album was announced... and oh my! Have been hooked since. You're Better than This really reflects one of the aspects Pile does best- from lyricsm, instrumentation, and overall delivery. If there was one band I had to set as my default for music recommendations in general, it would most likely be, the one and only, Pile.
.
Seriously, check them out and support if you'd like via their Bandcamp.

Always a fun electronic, indie record to put on. Throughout the years, Strfkr has been one those bands who's sound has evolved while maintaining their electronic charm. Their albums are always something I look forward to still to this day.
