Hello, friends! I'll be playing a headlining gig in my hometown of Knoxville on the 4th of July! If you're near the downtown area, come by after fireworks get down to some house grooves! by @soundmethods

Saturday, July 4, Chris Grass brings down the house for America 🧨 A hometown hero and Atlanta staple, Chris rocks the party. On this, the semiquincentennial of our great land, it’s truly party in the USA(TL). We also have firecracker @kasa.spins and special guest DJs to set off sparks, along with the “Legend” on percussion. Let’s party for the people! by @soundmethods

I don't use the word "epic" often, but Ladybird was pretty damn epic tonight. If I had to guestimate, they were well at capacity, so there were at least 500 people inside and out at any given time (probably more). I played so many different genres and had an absolute blast. Hip-hop, funk, reggaeton, moombahton, samba, baile funk, disco, disco house, deep house, funky house, Latin house, tech house, Latin tech house, afrobeat... and then I ended with a proper drum & bass set capped off with Oliver Tree's "Life Goes On". I even played an extra half hour because it was too busy at midnight to pack up my gear! I don't think I've ever had so many compliments on a set before. I've pretty much lost my voice from saying "thank you" and talking to so many people from all over.
Also, watching people get down to Green Gold was too much fun. That track is over 20 years old and has been a mainstay in my crate since my days at Halo. by @soundmethods

Hello, friends! Thank you all for the birthday wishes this past weekend. I'm still trying to individually thank everyone but Facebook is being its usual difficult Facebook self. Also, tonight I'll be playing an afterparty in the Wish Lounge at Believe Music Hall, along with a couple of my esteemed 1200 Hustle musical colleagues. Hope to see you there! by @soundmethods
