@charlyfaye_ and @robyn_faye_ built this whole world before we filmed a single frame ♱ we had one day to rehearse the movement before shooting. everyone gave everything they had and devoted a lot of time to perfecting the routine. @charl_lucia improvised a movement piece that ended up carrying so much of the power in this video. @directedbylimb captured every everything so beautifully and the church let us in with so much warmth and became the most striking backdrop we could’ve asked for. i’m so proud of this one x

‘Father’ my 4th EP is out today ♱

These songs are about the versions of ourselves we inherit before we actually choose our own. They became a conversation about faith and feminism, freedom and guilt and the person i thought i was supposed to be versus the person i actually am.

I wrote and produced each song myself which makes releasing the EP feel like the start of a whole new chapter and my most personal one yet.

Thank you to my incredible band for their musicianship and their deep understanding of my music - @qtorra @joeyrobbinsdrums @chetjogiaguitarist

thank you to @izumimixerman and @jimspenceruk for mixing and mastering.

thank you @maximedesadeleer for your artwork.

This is only the beginning of this song. Thank you for giving it a place beyond my bedroom x
