new ground orchestra festival🌾

a last minute addition to my summer (thank u rachel🙌🏼) that left me feeling re-inspired & re-connected to music. this space reminded me of the importance of taking the time to maybe pick some fresh flowers & make a flower bouquet, embracing all the kinds of music you love into your craft, listening to someone else’s story, or a hike in the woods to bring you back to how life is intertwined with playing music. cherishing moments like these & the incredibly talented team of women that made this festival possible>> by @soundslikeviv

tb to an edit i made from christmas day of one of my fav memories when i visited the philippines for the first time & getting to play music for my grandpa’s older brother !

he recently passed and although our time with him was short, it will forever warm my heart that my family and i got to meet him in this lifetime. he shared the same smile, laugh, and music taste as our late grandpa senoy ;)

i know he and my grandpa will be singing and dancing alongside us in spirit🕊️rest easy mamay♥️ by @soundslikeviv

Incredibly grateful to be surrounded by musicians who love making music as much as I do 🥰❤️ thanks @soundslikeviv and @lenni.green for hopping on one of my fav @madicunningham songs- “My Full Name”.

This Friday 5-7:30 pm, I have a beautiful show lined up at @pghwinery . Pleased to have @soundslikeviv playing a few tunes of her own and with me! Sending her off to Cali soon🥹 she will be so missed in PGH!!! Come support❤️

Maybe some other special guests will join us too ? ;) this venue is near and dear to my heart. Really hope to see u there 🥹 taken in Pittsburgh Winery by @soundslikeviv

my senior recital accompanied by the loveliest ppl that made my time here so worthwhile 🌷

curating recitals throughout the years have been one of my favorite ways to experiment with what helps the audience connect to something they’ve probably never heard before. it’s become a special process that i’m always growing in + i’m endlessly grateful for you all receiving this music whether it be familiar or new. thank you to my family, friends, professor, stu mates, collaborators (plus so many more that aren’t pictured) + those who took time to watch the livestream for your continued love + support🫂 feeling super blessed, hopeful, & magical as we end this chapter ;)♥️
