Alexander J. Amato is a collaborative pianist, vocalist, music director, and emerging arts leader based in the greater Chicago area. Currently pursuing a BA in Music at North Central College, he holds over a decade of experience spanning choral, instrumental and worship settings. Our first one day choir was an absolute blast!
Such a pleasure meeting some amazing musicians and working with all of them.
Everyone loved working with one another and bringing all these beautiful harmonies to life.
Sounds of Evergreen was started on the foundation of bringing people who love music together and allowing them to collaborate and show their experience and talent in a safe space.
I know a lot of people didn’t show up because they felt skeptical about this new organization but i hope after seeing all the content we recorded and seeing the environment we created, the turn out for our next event will increase:)!
Thank you to everyone who signed up and a special thank you to everyone who showed up.
We’re hoping to throw another one day choir soon so stay tuned🤫hope to see you all there!

ATTENTION SINGERS!!! Sounds of Evergreen is hosting a One-Day Choir Friday, June 28th at Side Street Studio Arts in Downtown Elgin. This is a completely free social event! We will be singing an Arrangement by Frank Ticheli called “Earth Song”. This piece is so significant at a time like this where war and violence is on the rise every day. This song is a cry and prayer for peace. Link to the Event is in bio! Hope to see you there! by @soundsofevergreen
