On Friday I was fortunate to perform in a masterclass featuring Carla Canalés! Sharing and singing Negro Spirituals is very therapeutic for me and connects me with my ancestors. I hope you all enjoy 😊 (I am accompanied by Christopher Thompson) by @soundxdeborah

Hi everyone! Happy World Opera Day! This song has always been close to my heart and I really hope it can become close to yours as well after hearing it. This particular recording is of me during a voice performance class, that’s why you hear some of my teacher in it 😅. Today is about letting yourself feel all emotions, the good and the bad. Let me know what you think :) by @soundxdeborah

This past April I had the amazing opportunity to sing Pamina in Mozart’s the Magic Flute! This has now become one of my favorite arias. I hope you feel the emotion even through the mask :) by @soundxdeborah

Hello everyone! I am now launching this music page 😁 I will be posting both opera pieces I’ve performed or will perform and my own personal songs I’ve created. Being so vocal (no pun intended) about my personal music and my training as an opera singer feels a little new to me so please hang in there while I show you who I am. Thank you, DebJanine 💜 by @soundxdeborah
