MILELE …. ✨⚡️💫❤️💪🏽

Beyond the horizon
Beyond the last cloud in the sky
There’s a place I know
Imagine a kingdom
The water flows
The grass is high
It’s not a dream
Someday, we’ll go

We call it
Milele
It’s always there
Milele
It lives in you
It lives in me
You’ll see

-Mufasa, The Lion King

A retrospective snippet to say goodbye to 2022 and welcome 2023!

With a quick rewind to 2017, when I quit my “so-called-lucrative” software job in California and returned to India to pursue my passions (yes, passions plural with an ’s’ - more on this later :)) - Though such an action is also attributed to boldness, there is this perspective of ’sacrifice’ given to it because of the materialistic aspect being ‘renounced’. However, if I tell you that there is a whole other dimension that taking the plunge into unexplored roads opens up for you - it might surprise some.

Being able to give up something of high materialistic value actually in retrospection makes you feel the transition to a place of higher power! Might sound philosophical, but it is every bit true. When your inner and outer purposes align and you start chasing impact, your mind opens to a place of supreme power you’ve never witnessed before - where you start feeling an invincible and unshakeable determination. The place from where you can experience the everyday process with the same enthusiasm you’d experience reaching the goal-posts with. That liberation is priceless. You start sailing with this conviction of how all the dots would connect backwards and every moment you are a part of is meant to be & is your ‘ikigai’.

On that note, wishing everyone a fantabulous 2023!! #onwardsandupwards

Extra nice when your neighborhood park lacks the crowd due to the long weekend (which I had no clue about until last evening, lol - the #startupgrind is real af!)
