Day 2 in our Conflict Resolution series, each day we will share tips and resources leading up to 10/15.

5 simple tips for a difficult conversation. You don’t need perfect words to begin a constructive conversation.
Pick one tip to try the next time something feels tense.
Tip 1: Pause. Give yourself a moment before responding
Tip 2: Get Specific. Describe what happened without labeling the person
Tip 3: Ask. What am I missing from your perspective?
Tip 4: Say What You Need. Make your request clear and doable
Tip 5. Make A Plan. Agree on one next step.
