It is with great pride this morning that we announce that Oladosu Michael Emerald @oladosu_michael_emerald is our first-ever winner of the Ponderosa Prize for Poetry. From many submissions, our editorial team, and ultimately our Guest Judge Ahja Fox @aefoxx, felt Emerald’s manuscript “Exi(s)t” was something truly special. Equal parts visceral and human, all poems amounting to something greater even than their parts. Stop by the site to get to know Oladosu better and to read one of his poems from the manuscript, “Everything I Wanted, Gone”. Link in our link tree.

Hi everyone,

We are reaching out with a unique opportunity to join us for an online open mic on October 10th from 4:00p-6:00p PT. Please bring two to three poems to share before we hand the evening over to our featured poet, Sonya Wohletz.

There are so many out-of-state and out-of-country contributors that we would love to connect with further, and we hope this open mic is a great opportunity to do so. Link in bio! taken in Online by @southbroadwaypress

Thanks @southbroadwaypress for publishing my poem, "Home is an Ocean I Know"

Honored to be a part of the directory!

Help SoBo reach their fundraiser goal! There's not too much more to go!

And keep an eye out for new collections and projects! I'm sowing the seeds of even more things to come! Feels like everything I've been working on this year is about ready to harvest...

PS - I do not work for Boulder Parks & Rec. Thrifted this shirt and just love its fit. Like a punk rock Johnny Cash I've been told...

PPS - that sunset was incredible! Glad to have good company with me filming! by @southbroadwaypress
