✨ An exciting update ✨

After nearly a decade of music-making, Got Strings is officially joining forces with Southern Strings, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead!

If you’ve loved Got Strings over the years, here’s the most important thing to know:
🎻 Same musicians
🤍 Same leadership
🎶 Same heart for beautiful, meaningful events

This change simply allows us to grow under one name as we continue serving couples across Virginia, and now officially launching in Washington, DC! 🏛️

Got Strings will always be a huge part of our story, and we’re so grateful for every couple, planner, and venue who helped shape it. 🤍

If you’d like to read more about how this all came to be (including how Got Strings started as a college side hustle back in 2016!), you can find the full story on the Southern Strings blog.

Follow along at @southernstrings_music for what’s next. Thanks for being along for the ride! 😊 by @southernstrings_music

Celebrating the new season with Autumn Leaves, performed by the Southern Strings Quartet at the Autumn Equinox Concert at Huntsville Botanical Garden. 🍁

We’ve loved celebrating the changing seasons through music, and there’s one more concert to come! ❄️ Join us December 20 from 2:30–4:30 PM as we welcome winter with an afternoon of live music.

Happy Sunday!! 🏈🎻

We thought your Sunday football needed a little string quartet energy.

Who knew the NFL Theme went this hard on strings? 😂 #Sunday #stringquartet #football #nfl #weddinginspo by @southernstrings_music

Kinda chic to hire a string duo for your Ceremony 🎻✨

Go classic with our violin + cello duo or mix it up with violin + harp, piano, or guitar. Your wedding, your soundtrack. 🤍

We still have a few November + December dates available! Hit our website link in our bio and let’s get you on our calendar. 🥂

Who says strings are just for the ceremony? 🎻

Our Southern Strings Trio set the mood for Laurel + William’s dinner with “She Will Be Loved” by Maroon 5 before the band took over for the night.

Live strings during dinner = the perfect warm-up for the dance floor. ✨
