After 34 first Tuesdays in September… today starts a new era, a new chapter and an uncharted journey.

So much gratitude to express I’ll need the rest of the week to share it.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
.

Wishing you all a beautiful, bountiful and loving Thanksgiving.

Gratitude begins with your thoughts and lives with your actions.

A combination of two words have always guided my gratitude… like a mantra.

Be Kind.
Be Loving.
Give More.
Share Laughter.
No Hate.
Fear Less.
Be Brave.
Fuck Cancer.

Stay Thankful.

What are your two words?

APPLE DUO

I’m getting a serious negative vibe after its introduction.

Is the Apple Duo this year’s Ford Motor Company Edsel?

Seriously.

ps. Sorry kids you’ll need to Google the 1958 Ford Edsel

SURGERY UPDATE

Well it’s exactly two weeks post-op.

Getting these “irons” off today.

Progress has been slow, painful at times but all appears to be on track and schedule.

Each day has brought a new pain or new stiffness but I work through it as advised and recommended by my surgical team.

Physiotherapy begins in earnest next Monday. I think that’s gonna be the true test of things.

THANK YOU for all the wonderful messages and best wishes. They brought me smiles when I really wanted to cry.

But the biggest thanks go to my amazing home nurse and love Lyse @anyzkey. Without her incredible patience (and likely desire to use a pillow as a weapon) I would have been totally lost.

HAPPY THIRTY-EIGHT YEARS…

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to this incredibly patient woman who has put up with all of my shenanigans, my up and down issues of health, who is incredibly smart, who is likely more passionate about our family then can ever be measured, and the most loving woman in the world. If you are blessed to call her your friend you know exactly what I mean. I get to call her my partner through it all.

She makes everyday feel like the first and for that reason alone and I’m ready to do it all over again.

Forever I remain blessed to have the incredible Lyse Fafard Kalamut as my partner, the mother to our incredibly amazing young men and the only person who would ever put up with me! PERIOD.

IT’S NOT ENOUGH TO SIMPLY SAY THANK YOU, but as the old saying goes, ”I love you to moon and back” and a billion times over and more than all the grains of sand in the universe.
