Hebrews 1:14 calls angels ministering spirits, sent out to serve those who are to inherit salvation. That means heaven is ACTIVELY involved in your life!

Week 3 of The Real Disclosure was all about the heavenly realm, and it’s a reminder that God has surrounded His people with more help than we can see.

COUNTDOWN 📣: Southview’s 4th Annual Kingdom Culture Celebration is coming Sunday, October 25th!

This is a day to celebrate the beauty of God’s family from every nation, tribe, and tongue. Come hungry, come ready to celebrate, and bring your friends and family to experience the flavors, colors, and stories that make our church family so special.

We’d also love to have you be part of making it happen. We need help with decorating, food prep, set-up and tear-down, and kids zone helpers like face painters and games.

The enemy’s biggest trick is getting us to call what’s bad good and what’s good bad. It happens in what we watch, scroll, and laugh at every day, and the more we see it, the more normal it starts to feel.

2 Corinthians 4:4 says the god of this age blinds minds to the light of the gospel. The good news is that a regenerated heart sees differently. When Jesus makes us new, our eyes open and we can tell what’s true again.

It’s time for the church to wake up, and that starts with diving into the Word. The more we know, the more ready we are, and the more we can stand firm in what’s TRUE.

Who the Nephelim were and how they came to be is part of a story that shows just how far things had fallen, and why God’s response mattered.

This week, we kicked off our series, “The Real Disclosure”, where we’re unpacking giants, angels, demon, and aliens. Instead of having the world define and shape our context for these things, we’re going verse-by-verse in scripture with historical context to see what the Word says.

Sunday was all about giants (who we found out were NOT fairytales). They’re in the Bible, and the world has spent generations turning them into folklore and myth. This week in The Real Disclosure, we’re looking at what Scripture actually says about the Nephilim and their role on the earth.

THIS SUNDAY, we’re kicking off a new series called “The Real Disclosure” - diving into angels, demons, giants, and all the supernatural things the world loves to talk about but usually gets wrong.

It’s all in the Bible, and it’s time we talked about it too. See you there. by @southviewc

Before we ever think to pursue God, He’s already pursuing us. The secret place isn’t us chasing after a distant God, hoping He notices. It’s Him drawing us in first, inviting us into something He already wanted. We’re not earning His attention. We already have it.

We just came off our 7 day fast, and we want to keep that fire burning! The secret place is where it stays lit.

It’s a daily return to being alone with God, where He speaks and we listen.

Withdraw from the noise. Become still before Him. Open the Word. Listen for His voice. Stay there.

Keep the fire burning this week. Full sermon is on our YouTube! by @southviewc
