Barbados is home!

All other Barbadian by descents tap in baby, I love how there's a whole league of us whose parents move away but raised us still connected to the culture. In turn so many of us have either moved back, are bi coastal or have set up a whole life here.

November was stressful, but God is amazing. He made a way over and over, I’m grateful! Our 🇳🇬 traditional wedding was a success; however, Samuel and I decided we’re never having a party that size again 🙃.

1) @jaimecrochet made this custom crochet dress for me. 10/10 highly recommended, awesome customer service & quality product 👌🏾

2) husbae & I celebrated 1 year of marriage

3) Saturdays are for Souse in 🇧🇧, but I’m not into Pork, so pickle chicken for me pleaseeee🙋🏾‍♀️🤤

Taking this time to wish each and every one of you a very happy Jessday!

S/o to my parents for quite literally scheduling the best day of the year to pull me out.

My January/best month of the year 🎂🎉 4 months late but life has been life-ing.

1) as always, pic was taken by my good friend @shaneleacock

2) IYKYK my good friend @jerome_hinds is band from playing at my games night yet still found a way to cohost/judge. He’s now fully banned from participating all together 😂

3) @nix_blu had her team stressed out 😂

4) coconut vanilla cake made by @sariahs_sweet_treats246

5) @aonbiggest was gassing me up to do bad for my birthday.

6) my family having a fullllll lime on a Wednesday night like people don’t have work the next day.

7) I did a rum tour with @mountgayrumbdos and had the most fun.

8) as always I lean on y’all for outfit/accessory choices.

9) My baby boy helped decorate my 2nd birthday cake. Then I had to get ready for someone else’s birthday party.

10) I started my birthday week off with my baby boy.

It's giving Lifeguard Jess 🏊🏾‍♀️. They say thick thighs save lives but I can promise you there was a certified lifeguard in the tower behind me ready to take over in case the theory proved otherwise.

Went home 🇧🇧 and did everything I said I would.

Fruit of my womb turned 10 in May and I give God all the praises, honour and glory for how far he’s brought us. I’ll save the testimony for another day lol.

But Jayce Khalin (J•ACE KAH•LYN)
is the sweetest, most caring and considerate young boy. He’s very intentional and is crazy tight with his boundaries and expectations, I really don’t know how he’s so wise for ten.

He told me at 8 that he wanted a party in Barbados with his family + friends for his 9th birthday ✔️ for 10 he wanted to celebrate in Toronto with his cousins and do laser tag or arcade ✔️ for 11 he wants to go to Bahamas or Disney so y’all pray for my pockets 😂

Side note: @jaz.cakesto came alllll the way through with this cake, trust it tastes as good or better than it looked. My son requested red velvet with cream cheese icing, even his taste buds fancy 😩 taken in Dave & Buster's by @sowelljessed
