If you’ve been waiting for a sign to book that Napa trip, this is it! 🥂

A year later, and still dreaming about this beautiful afternoon @chandonusa with my beautiful friend @gigijewels . Breathtaking gardens, gorgeous surroundings, exceptional service, exquisite Sparkling Wines, and a boutique you could happily spend hours exploring.

Chandon Napa Valley continues to hold a special place on my list of favorite Napa wineries. It’s one of those places where the experience is every bit as memorable as the sparkling Wines themselves ✨

Caregiver burnout is real, and I’m experiencing it right now 😣My friend Vergi, pictured here with me, understands this journey firsthand.

After years of caring for both my parents, the emotional and physical demands are beginning to take their toll. I’ve been dealing with a few health challenges over the past couple of years. It’s been frustrating to be under the weather twice in the past 30 days while still looking for answers.

One of my greatest concerns has always been who would be there for me if I became ill or needed someone to step in and help. I’m especially grateful for the friends who have shown me that I have people I can count on when I need them.

I don’t share my daily life. What you see on my account are glimpses of the moments I choose to share, not the everyday reality of my life. Caregiving means giving up a great deal of your independence and living with a level of worry that rarely goes away. Many nights, I sleep with my bedroom door open, just as I used to check my mother’s bedroom camera through my phone, day and night. I’ve heard the same from other caregivers.

You don’t necessarily choose to become a caregiver. Sometimes the role simply becomes yours. My mother used to tell me that, of her eight children, God had chosen me for a reason. I know she meant it with love, but I didn’t always find comfort in those words.

I’m grateful for the community of fellow caregivers I’ve found among my friends. We understand one another in ways that only shared experiences can teach us, and I’ve learned so much from them. I have tremendous respect for those who embrace this responsibility with love, patience, and dedication, because it takes a special person to be a caregiver 🤍🤍

This moment of my siblings and grandchildren walking onto the field at Dodger Stadium, followed by Mom and Dad, captures so much more than a day in the life of a Major League baseball family.

Mom spent around six decades alongside my father in baseball, raising eight children and navigating a world that looked very different for women when she first entered it in the 1960s, particularly for players of color. She represented a generation of baseball, wives and mothers whose contributions weren't always visible.

Today, on the 3rd anniversary of her passing I find myself thinking about that part of her story a little differently. She was the matriarch of our family and her influence reaches far beyond us.

Mom, this is just one small glimpse of the incredible legacy you built through family, baseball, love and strength ❣️

Missing you, grateful for you and your lessons, thinking of you everyday.

Of all the roles I get to hold in this life, Motherhood will ALWAYS be my favorite assignment 🩷
And I get to be a mother in law too ✨ 🥰

Hay encuentros que trascienden el béisbol. 💙

Soul Sisters Reunite! ✨💖☕️🔥

The tea was HOT, the laughs were nonstop, and somehow it felt like no time had passed at all. There’s just something special about getting together with the friend who know your stories, your secrets, and every chapter in between.

From catching up on life updates to reminiscing about old memories (and creating a few new ones), this was exactly the kind of soul-filling time I needed. Good food, endless conversations, lots of laughter, and the reminder that true friendships always pick up right where they left off.

Grateful for you friend @soyceciliamota the memories we share, and the bond that keeps us connected no matter how busy life gets. Until the next reunion... because we all know there will be more tea to spill. ☕💕✨

Not your average Saturday! 🥂🐎✨

Spent the afternoon at Sip & Saddle @sipssaddles with @soyceciliamota at the @willrogerspoloclub_official Will Rogers Polo Club sipping rosé, soaking up the sunshine, and enjoying the excitement of the polo match. There's something so special about spending a day outdoors with good friends, great conversations, and a glass of rosé in hand.

I had never experienced an event quite like this before, and it was the perfect mix of sport, style, and fun. Watching the horses and players in action while taking in the beautiful surroundings made for such a memorable afternoon.

We ended the evening at the rooftop of the @waldorfbevhills Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, where the views were absolutely spectacular. From the polo field to the city skyline, it was one of those days that leaves you feeling grateful for new experiences, beautiful places, and the people you get to share them with.

Cheers to meeting new friends @sweet_kalena

A pretty perfect day if you ask me. ✨🥂 by @soyceciliamota
