A year of ups, downs and lessons. When 2023 started I had all these plans for things I wanted to achieve in my life. Career and personal life things. Some of it worked out and some not quite yet. But I’m thankful for all the lessons 2023 taught me. As the year comes to an end, I’m forever appreciative of everyone and everything that aided in those lessons and experiences. by @soyismailcameron

For a long time I stayed away from writing. Convinced myself that my only place in storytelling existed in front of the camera, bringing other people’s word to life.

Writing gave me a way to move ideas out of my head and onto the page, to create opportunity instead of waiting for it, and to shape the kinds of stories I want to see told.

These pages are more than scripts. They’re proof that the things we hesitate doing, sometimes become the very things that move us forward the most.

My advice to anyone thinking about doing anything;
Look for the sun,
and fucking aim for it.
Icarus was right.
