Tomorrow this little pumpkin must undergo surgery. I’ve never been as scared in my life as I’m right now. Everyone who doesn’t get that animals who live with us are family and not ‘just a pet’ really shouldn’t talk to me right now or ever. Please share your stories with positive outcomes if you’ve ever been in the same situation. Thank you 💜 by @soyouwonder

The world feels like a lot right now and you’re not imagining it

War, AI uncertainty, climate change, rising living costs…
of course your nervous system is reacting

I’m Kate. I work with young professionals on mental health, self-trust, and emotional resilience, especially in times of uncertainty.

This carousel is a small reminder that stability doesn’t come from predicting the future, but from learning how to support yourself when things feel hard

If this resonated, leave a ❤️ or a comment below👇🏽

People who struggle with uncertainty often think they need more certainty

But what they usually lack isn’t information - it’s self-support

When uncertainty shows up, some people respond with self-blame, panic, or pressure. Others respond with compassion, grounding, and flexibility.

The difference isn’t fear. It’s the skill of staying with yourself when things are unclear

This can be learned gradually and gently, regardless of your background 🧡 by @soyouwonder

The waves in this metaphor are the feelings that show up when you step into uncertainty

Uncertainty doesn’t look dramatic from the outside.
It looks like waiting, not knowing. Sending the message and wondering what will happen next.

Sometimes the answer is “no”.

And that no can feel like a shock to the nervous system - a rush of fear, shame, or the urge to pull back and stop trying.

But here’s what often gets missed:
a response, even a rejection, is crucial information.

It tells you what landed, what didn’t, and where you might adjust. That’s how learning happens under uncertainty.

When we avoid uncertainty, we stay stuck in overthinking, trying to predict every outcome instead of letting reality give us real data.

Feeling unsettled doesn’t mean you did something wrong. It often means you stepped into the unknown and that’s where growth actually happens 🧡 by @soyouwonder

Many people worry that being compassionate with themselves will make them less disciplined

That if they stop judging themselves, they’ll stop caring

But self-support isn’t about giving up or “letting everything slide”

It’s about giving your nervous system enough safety to reflect, learn, and keep going, especially when things don’t go as planned

If you want to practice this in simple ways:

• ask yourself what you’d say to a close friend in the same situation
• imagine how you’d speak to a child you care about right now
• or reach out to someone you trust and let them reflect your strengths back to you

Self-support doesn’t remove responsibility. It makes growth possible!

And it’s something you can learn gently, regardless of your background 🧡 by @soyouwonder

Hey, I’m Kate :)

I’m a mental health professional based in Zurich, working with individuals and teams.

My background is in psychology (BSc Psychological Studies, First Class Honours), and I’m trained in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). I’m not a psychotherapist, and I don’t offer clinical treatment. My work focuses on mental well-being, psychological flexibility, and skill-building for everyday life.

I support young talents and neurodivergent individuals who are building their lives, careers, and identities in a world that often feels overwhelming and unclear.

Alongside my psychology background, I bring experience from recruitment and group facilitation. I’ve been facilitating an ADHD support group for almost two years and work with people in 1:1 sessions, groups, and trainings.

I share evidence-based perspectives, practical tools, and clear language, because growing up, I didn’t have access to non-judgmental, reliable support. This space is meant to offer exactly that.

You don’t need to be “fixed” to deserve clarity and support 🧡
