We are excited to start this new chapter, no matter how small it may seem. Living on this land full-time is a feeling that’s hard to put into words, but if we had to choose one, it would be “purposeful.” Our mission goes beyond just our family and farming— it’s about helping God’s creation reconnect in a caring and holistic way. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to begin this journey and to restore our bond with nature, food, and each other. 🌱

There are lots of moving parts, and as unrelated to farming as this may seem, establishing a presence that was originally never intended for us has become an essential phase for us in the process of progressing. The reason for this is because it’s nearly impossible to bring any of our visions to life, let alone farm, until we or someone else lives on the property.

Before moving to the farm full-time, we have moved into our parents’ home while welcoming a new addition into the family, changing the kids schools, inheriting horses, and continuing our everyday lives and farm-related duties. This transition has been valuable not only emotionally and physically, but also spiritually. We feel as if we’ve been gently pushed toward a lifestyle more in line to what we’ll experience in the near future, rather than being forced to uproot and replant at random, which reminds us of God’s grace and mindfulness.

But the hour is approaching. Feet will be planted, and our life will be dedicated to serving God and our community! The next phase will be documented whenever it becomes known, in the hopes that it might help those of you who follow in your personal quest for freedom. Thank you to @kingdomjones and everyone else who has contributed to recording these unforgettable experiences for us. 🌱

Our first Farm Day was big vibes. Men and women from different sports and backgrounds came out to work the land, eat good, kick it, and connect on a deeper level. That’s what Persona is about: finding your people and building a life filled with love, peace, and purpose together. We’re running it back December 5th. Pull up and see why we call this home. by @sozofarmstx

This new land just keeps on giving. We’re planning to use this area for family and friends to live on, so it’s pretty cool knowing the land is fertile and producing fruit too.

Some connections don’t require words. Just trust, presence, and a little peace. 🐎 by @sozofarmstx

Can’t lie, finding a 60+ year-old pecan tree and harvesting from it has been one of the coolest things we’ve done thus far.

And as you can hear in the background, we all know who’s really running the farm @chels.colvin 😅

True peace comes at a cost, but getting to share it with others makes it all worth it.

EVERY. SINGLE. ANIMAL.

Knows when Ace is coming.

WHY?

Because he feeds everybody double portions or Table food like he owns a restaurant.

And he couldn’t care less what anybody thinks.

Is it safe?

NAH.

Can we stop him?

AT OUR OWN RISK.

WHY?

Because he’s bought their loyalty, and we’re not trying to get jumped by the whole farm. 🤦‍♂️

Harvest day with @personaathlete alum and our brother @pippy_long_soq. Still learning, but nothing beats getting back to the basics. 🍊
