11 years ago, I fought for my life. Today, I ran 42.195 km to celebrate it.
My first marathon. Berlin. 🇩🇪
For every version of me that refused to give up. For every early morning, every doubt, every tear, and every person who carried me to this start line.
For the girl from Lima who dared to dream this big. 🇵🇪
And for my dad, whose words carried me every single kilometer:
Mind over matter.

The rides to and from school were always our karaoke time. Somewhere along the way, we would say that one day we would see @brunomars together. ✨

Twenty years of love.

Lilly came into our lives five years ago after we drove to Newburyport to bring her home. She had already lived a long and beautiful life with Joe’s dad, Wayne, and we were lucky enough to care for her through her golden years.

This morning, she crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully.

Thank you, sweet Lilly, our lady from New England, for every quiet moment, every gentle purr, and for reminding us that home isn’t a place—it’s the people who love you.
