Josiah Ardister is a 6’3” forward in the Class of 2029 who impacts the game mostly through effort, defense, and athletic activity. He plays with a fast pace and brings constant energy, especially on defense and rebounding. His biggest strength is how active he is—he doesn’t take possessions off and stays involved in plays even when he’s not the primary option.

Defensively, he’s the type of player who can change the flow of a game without scoring. He pressures the ball, helps in rotations, and is willing to fight inside for rebounds against bigger players. His hustle makes him valuable in situations where teams need stops, loose balls, and extra possessions. He also communicates and stays engaged, which helps his team stay organized on defense.

On offense, Josiah is more of a support player right now, but he contributes in important ways. He runs the floor well in transition and can finish off easy opportunities when he’s around the rim. He also shows good awareness as a passer, especially when defenders collapse on him, finding open teammates instead of forcing tough shots. His offense is more about efficiency and smart decisions than creating his own scoring at the moment.

The main area for growth is developing a more consistent scoring game. Adding a reliable mid-range jumper or a stronger inside finishing package would make him a much bigger threat. If he eventually develops a jumper or becomes more confident creating his own shot, his impact will jump significantly because his defense and energy are already at a strong level.

Overall, Josiah projects as a high-motor, defense-first forward who can help a team win through effort plays, rebounding, and smart decision-making. As his offensive game expands, he has the potential to move from a role player into a more complete two-way contributor. taken in Basketball Court by @sp5der.jojo_
