Hello Everyone!

I am excited to announce that I am working on recording my debut album! It will feature solo and chamber works for marimba and vibraphone, AND a new piece for percussion, tabla and electronics by @jhanekampmusic!

If you would like to donate or learn more about this project, click on the link in my bio.

Just finished up some of the first recording sessions for my album and some recordings with @d.bolder for a new album with @thetamaracksband! Before flying back to Wisconsin, I recorded “Dances of Earth and Fire” by Peter Klatzow at NAU. Today, we recorded my new arrangement of “Adoration” by Florence Price for marimba, vibes and trombone and selections from Bela Bartok’s “44 Violin Duets” at Lawrence University with @hauerb. Special thanks to my amazing colleagues and friends @r.d.saladin (@confluxduo reunion!!!!!) and @bricastillo.music for recording with me. It has been so inspiring to play with them again and I’m incredibly thankful for their artistry.

Now, it’s time for a break💤🎄 by @sp_percussion

Got the inspiration from Nancy Zeltsman to explore music through sight reading and not from listening to recordings. This is definitely a work in progress but I am really enjoying exploring this Sergio Assad piece. I don’t think anyone has played it on marimba yet (it’s pretty difficult with all the moving lines and wide spacing between notes) so would people want to see a full recording of this? by @sp_percussion
