TECHIE WOES

Enough said?

I just started using Chat a few days ago.

I drank the Koolaid.
I found my own personal assistant.
And is helping me complete my website.
And never argues.
And is SUPER fast.
And doesn’t mind countless changes.
And sucks up FIVE & A HALF hours.
A temporal bandit.

Why was I shocked?
Because working in that mind/machine space is timeless.
I barely notice people coming in and out.
Time of day, temperature of the room, and sounds don’t exist.

I teach leaders how to “Protect Human Judgement”.

This Human made a poor judgement today.

Let me know if you can relate to this!

Christopherkaidom, the Wizard of Words, knows how to throw an event!

@GifterXtalks @manacommon in Miami was a vibrant gathering of entrepreneurs sharing their stories and an equally vibrant audience participating.

Highlight of the event:
@moishamana, multi-billionaire, stopped by to encourage us & share his life’s purpose and vision of the future. Why mention the billionaire part? Because he puts his money to work improving people’s lives, supporting culture and the arts, and to a global transformation of the relationship between North and South America.

Sex & Spa Panel:
Christopher cheer-leaded and brought @kimberlyresnickanderson, certified sex therapist for 35 years, and I, on stage for “Sex & Spa”. The energy was dynamic. The audience alive. And a new friendship and collaboration has begun! Stay tuned for more.

Our offerings include conferences, group events and retreats. For booking inquiries, please DM me.

We are not made whole by choosing one side of ourselves over another.

Tenderness & Strength

Contrast makes us whole.

What seeming contradiction within you has become one of your greatest strengths? Let me know me in the comments!

SPABITCHGURUS need to keep expanding capacity and learning new skills.

I’ve been speaking for years. But I’ve recently stepped into a whole new realm … the professional speakers industry.

@christopherkaid has taken me under his wing, teaching me the ropes of which “booking” is both an art and a science.

I’ll be speaking at GifterX Talks the “TED Talks for Entrepreneurs” on Monday, September 28th at 6:00 pm in downtown Miami.

I look forward to seeing some of my Florida SPABITCHGURUS!

You can buy tickets at gifterxtalks.com

We are shaped, in part, by the books we read.

I’m excited to introduce the
“SBG library”.

Each book I share is what I consider “Must Reads” for a SPABITCHGURU.
In fact, most of the books should be on EVERYONE’S reading list.

We start with a book that lies by my bedside within easy reach.

The Creative Act: A Way of Being
by Rick Rubin

Rick is one of the most creative & influential record producers of all times. His work is a master class in contrasts. Author, professor, producer @dancharnas writes “Rubin’s ultimate gift as a producer is his ability to combine light & dark, serious & playful, sweetness & acidity, divine & diabolic, beauty & ugliness”.

Mr. Rick Rubin is the consummate SPABITCHGURU.

Why read this book? Because he is also a multi-faceted philosopher who declared “Everyone is a Creator”.

Enjoy the book! I look forward to your thoughts.

This Sicilian Aquarian has just joined @LinkedIn. Those who know me well know how LOATHE I am to be “social” on social media.

However, I also want SPABITCHGURU to expand reach.

I’m still figuring out “Connect” and “Follow”. One can seemingly connect with and follow a limitless number of people.

It got me thinking about connection. How many connections, either social or professional, have any personal significance?

The Internet & AI algorithmic connections can never come close to what the French call “coeur a coeur”, heart to heart, connections. It describes a deep, intimate, & emotionally vulnerable discussion between two people. Heart connection can happen immediately between two strangers. Or, develop over trusted time.

It’s a soulful exchange rather than transactional. And, it’s deeply satisfying when two people truly connect.

Treasure those precious “heart to heart” connections.

Honoring two dear SPABITCHGURUS whose quiet demeanors nonetheless powerfully exemplify the SBG traits.

Bold in action.

Strong in convictions.

Gentle in voice.

I cherish my connection with you both!

It was at one of the legendary “Henro Parties” @Nojima_House over two months ago that I met fellow Henro & Author @Patrick_Puegh, and his lovely wife, Pascale. He was completing his second round of the #88templepilgrimageshikoku. Pascale was backup support towards that effort.

Today his finished book, Two Times Around the Circle, arrived in Sedona❣️

This book, in part, helps continue my own 88 experience.

Thank you, Tani @tanigucci_norifumi
for being the ultimate host, bringing people together, fun-maker & care giver, even though you wrestle unsuspecting Henros who try & give you a hug. 😳

@Nojima_House is a “donation” run lodging near Temple 62, Houjuji. Well worth visiting & supporting. You will not forget your time there!

To my dear SPABITCHGURUS, let’s make sure we create community, fun, & silly times❣️

We’re already halfway through the Year of the Fire Horse. It’s a year of great opportunity for those who hang on to the mane & ride for your life.

2026 so far:

SPRINGTIME
Nine weeks on a Pilgrimage in Japan was the challenge I hoped for mentally, physically, & spiritually. I didn’t realize #88TemplesPilgrimageShikoku would also gift me solitude wrapped in love, peace, silence, joy &, inexplicable spiritual experiential happenings & insights.
My life now balances “Before 88” with “After”.

START OF SUMMER
Barely unpacked my bags & headed to Orlando to give a “Lead Like a SPABITCHGURU” presentation at the Mary Bemis @marybemisreport curated “Spa & Wellness Show” at @premierbeautyshow.

I was riding that Fire Horse bareback!

Then ….. ‘a few days later’ ……….

The Fire Horse tried to get my attention. Tried to buck me off.

@ 2:00am, my husband, “Chip” @hunterchiparmstrong @weaponswielder, was airlifted to a hospital an hour away with a heart attack. Two days later he had a quadruple bypass.

‘Living in the present’ is the only option when a single heartbeat is the difference between life & death. Each moment demands singular attention.

Thankfully, Chip is now home recovering. In true form his mind stays away from the negatives. He is focused on driving this next chapter on a path of his own making.

Forces driving me are:
✨The realization I am meant to apply teachings & lessons I received in Japan.
✨No, it’s not easy. If it were easy there would be no growth. My anterior mid cingulate cortex is GROWING!
✨I am working towards ‘easy/not easy’ does not matter.

✨Thank you, Darling Daughter, @samaire.xoxo for taking the reins of Spartan Training Center & picking up all the other slack. Who knew there was so much to do?!

✨Thank you to those closest to us, “my tribe, my people”. Your support is everything.

Let’s all ride these last six months of the Fire Horse like true SPABITCHGURUS, with grace & elan!
