This was the best space jellyfish 🪼 that I have ever seen! It was spotted up and down the entire east coast (including by my dad in Baltimore - his iPhone image is at the end of this set)!

I photographed the launch from the NASA causeway. At 6:33am, a tiny bit of blue was creeping into the sky and by the time the jellyfish was doing its thing and especially by the time the booster landed, some nicer color came into play.

This mission is a critical resupply mission brining solar panels, science experiments, and most importantly, hummus, to the International Space Station!

The launch & landing of the Crew-13 mission to the ISS!

To make this video happen, I stationed a camera (the @lumix L10) next to the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building) and let it run on its own for the eight minute span from liftoff to landing. I was able to mask in the two clips exactly as they were to show these two moments side by side. This has only recently become possible as SpaceX just started landing rockets at LZ-40, right next to this launchpad instead of at a dedicated facility (LZ-1 & LZ-2) away from the pad.

I shot Artemis II with 14 @lumix cameras!

Most of them were shooting bursts of still photos and I just combined the frames into videos.

The first three view are from cameras around the launchpad and the final view is from the NASA press site. You can spot @mdcainjr tracking the rocket in that final shot!

The four NASA astronauts on the Artemis II mission are capturing stunning photos of Earth using iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Three of the published shots, confirmed on NASA's official Flickr page, were taken on iPhone and show Earth through the window of the Orion capsule.

This marks the first time NASA has issued individual iPhones to each crew member on a space mission.

Apple confirmed it was not involved in NASA's approval process.

These images are incredible!

Final remote shots are here! I hit my own record of 14 cameras used to capture this launch 🚀

The astronauts aboard the Artemis II Orion capsule are now approaching their flyby of the moon!

Huge shoutout to @nyoom.tm and @joeb.photos for retrieving these cameras for me the day after the launch while I was out of town. A nice treat after a trip to get to edit these photos!

All Systems Go! Artemis II | Yesterday was unreal! Words cannot describe it. Luckily we have cameras! 🎥

First round of remotes is in! Wow! What an incredible launch! So grateful to @nasa for the ability to place sound activated cameras right next to the rocket to bring these insanely-close-up views!

The four astronauts are now in space on their journey around the moon!
