Bueeeeno, pues ya estaría!!! Felix modo drag es algo que no sabía que necesitaba en mi vida hasta que iba a dibujar esta referencia en Pinterest como calentamiento...digamos que se me fue un poquito de las manos.
Por fin he salido del bloqueo creativo, ahora a ponerse con el TFG (ayuda)

So! there you go! Drag Felix is something I didn't know I needed in my life until I found this reference on Pinterest and decided to draw it as a warm up... it got out of hands as you can see.
I finally exited the art block, now I gotta lock in with my final illustration project (help).

Today I'm offering you my first school project for the second (and last) year of illustration! This is the first part though, since we had to do two illustrations (you'll see the second one soon ;)). We had to illustrate our world in a particular way using some concepts and mixing them together: I chose fairies, street art, anxiety and arachnophobia! There is a huge meaning behind but it's way too long to write it here (if you are curious about it: don't be shy! I'll tell you passionately, they are my daughter's after all ^^). I made it completely digitally if you were curious.
We also had to print both illustrations to create a print that we could bring to an illustration event (it's on the second slide).
Hope you like it as much as I do!!

Os presento mi primer trabajo del curso para segundo de ilustración! Está es la primera parte porque teníamos que hacer dos ilustraciones (la segunda la subiré prontito ;)). Teníamos que mostrar nuestro propio mundo de una forma particular,uniendo varios conceptos: yo elegí las hadas,el arte urbano,la ansiedad y el miedo a las arañas. Hay un significado enorme detrás de ambas ilustraciones pero es larguísimo (aunque si sentís curiosidad podéis preguntarme,que no muerdo). La técnica es digital, por si os lo preguntabais.
También tuvimos que imprimir ambas ilustraciones para poder llevarlas a una feria de ilustracion (está en la segunda foto).

I had this idea months ago when I saw a photo of Felix with a white skirt and got inspired to draw his as a ballet ballerina. Then I got into a huge art block, health issues and my laptop giving me lots of issues which stopped me from drawing, but I decided to continue it. I think it came out so good, didn't it?
What I like the most is the lightning I used, I think I improved a lot in that aspect and I'm so proud of myself!!
Probably will make this a print on the near future since I already printed one copy to see how it would look and I'm in love with it (you can see it on the second slide)

Tuve esta idea hace meses cuando vi una foto de Felix con falda y se me ocurrió dibujarle como una bailarina de ballet. Luego entre en un bloqueo tremendo sumado a problemas de salud y a que mi ordenador me daba problemas entonces dejé de dibujar bastante,pero hace unos meses lo retome y creo que quedó muy bien,¿no?
Lo que más me gusta es la iluminación,creo que mejore muchísimo en ese aspecto y estoy super orgullosa de mi misma.
Probablemente haga una print de esto (entre tú y yo,ya hice una prueba de impresión y estoy totalmente enamorada,la puedes ver en la segunda foto)

Bueno,como podéis observar no se me da bien seguir trends,estaba con exámenes y me llevo mil años terminar esto por la cantidad de detalles (pasad las fotos para verlos, que me esforcé mucho en ellos porfa). Well, I am awful at following trends as you can see, I was studying for my exams and I spent a lot of time making a lot of details (please slide to see them, I put so much effort in it). It HAD to be a penwin because what would I be withouth them? nothing. Besides he is so cute, my lil boy. Also fck AI.

Second illustration of my school project! (If you haven't seen the previous post yet go and read the caption cause I tell you there the context you need)
This illustration shows a fairy trapped inside a mural that a (humanised) spider is painting, which gives her anxiety. It has another meaning: the kind of spider I tried to portray is harmless,as it's bite only hurts humans but don't kill them or cause them any serious health issues (unless they are allergic) so it's irrational to fear them. It's also has like some kind of yellow filter to reinforce the anxiety feeling (yellow has many meanings in colour psychology, but if there is too much it may produce anxiety, ...). The fairy looks like is trying to break some kind of glass, which would be the wall that the mural is painted on. It's a metalanguage basically, as the mural participates of the real world.
Hope you like it as much as I did! (even though I liked the postal more)

¡Está es la segunda ilustración de mi proyecto de clase! (si no visteis la anterior id a leer la descripción del post anterior porque si no os va a faltar contexto)
Está ilustración muestra a un hada atrapada en un mural que pinta una araña humanizada, lo cual le da ansiedad. Tiene además otro significado: el tipo de araña que se ve es inofensiva para los humanos, pues el veneno no puede matar ni causar problemas serios de salud en humanos (a menos que sean alérgicos) así que es un miedo irracional. Tiene además un filtro amarillo para reforzar la sensación de ansiedad (en la psicología del color, el amarillo tiene muchos significados, pero en exceso puede producir ansiedad, ...). El hada parece que está intentando romper una especie de cristal, que sería la pared en la que el mural está pintado. Es una especie de metalenguaje, resumiendo, pues el mural participa del mundo real.

✏️Mini sketchbook tour✏️

Okay, this is a really random dump of drawings I did on my sketchbook along my summer vacations so let me explain a bit what are the drawings about

1-My interpretation of "La camarera", a @paulthinpt song. It's a woman dancing a sevillana with the lyrics surrounding her.
2-My interpretation of "rompeolas", a @martinurrrutia song. It's him in an impossible posture and surrounded by a wave.
3-A composition of the song "we both reached for the gun" of the Chicago musical, a recent obession of mine. It's Roxie and Billy and under them there are a revolver, a bullet and some blood, but insta crops the photo so you can't see it fully.
4- This one is more of a recent Spanish joke. You were supposed to go to "Mercadona" (a grocery store) and put a pineapple upside down if you were looking for a couple (really random,I know). I was looking for references on Pinterest and I found this cabaret photo of a character holding a pineapple and I thought it would be perfect to portray that joke.

Un conjunto de fotos de dibujos random que hice durante las vacaciones. Dejadme que os explique lo que muestran.

1- Mi interpretación de "La camarera" de @paulthinpt . Es una sevillana bailando con la letra a su alrededor.
2- Mi interpretación de "rompeolas" de @martinurrrutia . Es el en una posición imposible con una ola detrás suyo.
3- Una composición de "We both reached for the gun" del musical de Chicago,una de mis obsesiones más recientes. Son Roxie y Billy con un revolver, una bala y sangre debajo suya (aunque no se ven muy bien porque Instagram corta la foto).
4- A raíz del meme de ligar en el Mercadona y una foto de un personaje de cabaret cogiendo una piña hice este dibujo que es más una broma que otra cosa, me hizo mucha gracia no os voy a mentir.

✏️Photo study✏️

I wanted to draw a photo of an elderly person since I don't usually (or never) draw them and I really wanted to study how their faces are and look at how cute she turned out (which was obvious since she was already the cutest). I also wanted to practice colouring with colour pencils, which were my most hated technique but now are my 2nd fav one (after watercolour,of course). I really hope you like it as much as I do!

Tenía muchas ganas de dibujar una foto de una persona mayor porque no suelo dibujarlas (o más bien nunca lo hago) y quería estudiar como son sus caras,con las arrugas y la piel más finita y tal... Me salió cuquisima,lo cual no era muy difícil porque ella ya era súper cuqui. También aproveché para practicar colorear con lápices de colores,técnica la cual odiaba hace no mucho pero ahora es mi segunda favorita tras las acuarelas. ¡Espero que os guste tanto como a mí!

And finally, the last post of this (really weird) series! This time it is another random sketch of a girl on her knees praying?pleading? who knows, you give it the meaning you please cause I honestly don't know, it looked nice and I decided to upload it lmao. The book has a random perspective that doesn't make sense and makes it look like it's floating? yeah.

Con este post llegamos al final de esta serie de dibujos rara. Está vez es un bocetillo de una chica arrodillada... ¿rezando/rogando...? Quien sabe, vosotres le dareis el significado que más os guste, era un dibujo bonito y por eso decidí subirlo. ¿El libro tiene una perspectiva que no tiene ningún tipo de sentido y hace que parezca que flota? si.

Now I bring you a poster inspired my marina's awesome song and album "froot". Honestly, I started drawing random fruits and then did the typography. As you can see these posts are really random and have basically no idea behind it.

Hoy os ofrezco un postercito basado en el álbum y la canción de marina "froot". Sinceramente empecé a dibujar frutas random y luego hice la tipografía. Como podréis observas estos posts son muy random y no tienen ningún tipo de trasfondo profundo.

Since I don't know how to draw in Photoshop cause I can't seem to use its brushes properly I decided to do really quick sketches with the ones I liked the most, and they turned out really good!
It's a girl looking at the skyline with a tree behind her, didn't have an actual idea behind, I just drew whatever came to my mind. I tried to experiment with the colour contrast too (the cool tones of the girl and the warmer ones of the background)

No se dibujar en Photoshop ni usar sus pinceles, así que decidí hacer unos bocetillos rápidos con los que más me gustaron, y resulta que no quedaron mal...
Es una chica mirando las vistas aéreas de su ciudad con un árbol detrás (no tenía ninguna idea clara, solo dibuje lo que se me vino a la mente). Intenté experimentar también con el contraste entre los tonos fríos de ella y los cálidos del fondo.
