Artist: Jeppe Nedergaard - Denmark.Jeppe anno 2026 - a period characterized by experiments, new techniques and work across materials.Many of the works are done as mixed media and combine, among other things, acrylic, oil, oil sticks and pastel. During this period, Jeppe’s focus has been on the process and on challenging his own habits and boundaries as an artist.At the same time, Jeppe has opened up to new motifs, including still lifes with flowers, and explored a broader and a more nuanced color palette. Perhaps it is a counter-reaction to the unrest and conflicts that characterize the world around us. When fine art meets textiles and it all ends up in a gallery. SPACE / 宇宙 and Nick started our journey together in 2025 and when he told us about his new collaboration with 517 edition, we were so excited about this project that we had to do something with it. 517 editions has transformed the work Natural remedy into a beautiful hand made piece of floor art.The painting “Natural remedy” is currently on display in our gallery, amongst 6 other great paintings by Nick. It is acrylic on canvas, in size 120 x 100 cm, on an aluminium frame. At first look you would not see it but this work by emerging artist Danil Becker is his interpretation or maybe better his expression of a world famous painting by René Magritte, “Son of man”The son of W****. by artist Danil BeckerOil and acrylic on canvas Size: 60 x 80 cmexplanation of the work: For Son of a W***** I used the painting The Son of Man by the Belgian artist René Magritte as a reference.According to one interpretation of Magritte’s painting, the figure represents Adam in disguise of a modern man, standing before temptation, symbolized by the apple. In my version, however, Adam has already taken hold of the apple.To me, this reflects my perception of the world today - a world defined by absurdity, chaos, and surrealism. The character in my painting symbolizes humanity as a whole and its voluntary desire to immerse itself in this madness.Although I am not a religious person myself, I chose to express this idea through religious symbolism. It is present in the original painting and remains a visual language that is familiar and understandable to most people. by @spacegallery.dk
