My job isn’t to tell people how I think they should look. It’s to translate what they want and how they want to feel into something they can’t give themselves.

Most days that means designing smiles and rebuilding entire jaw systems. I love that work, but I get a different kind of excitement when someone brings me something outside the box.

She wanted vampire-esque canines. Not for Halloween. Just because.

So I mocked up a design, then sent it to @styledent to get creative with milled PMMA. I custom stained them with @gcamerica OptiGlaze.

Removable and reversible without healthy enamel sacrificed.

I did a filling this afternoon and asked for that silver band in the photo without realizing what I said. Then, I let out a bittersweet laugh.

See, the first time I got to met Dolly Parton, she shook my hand, started asking where I was from, etc., but didn’t let go. We’re just talking, her holding my hand the whole time. I told her the story about I learning what a duet was one night she was on tv. Still holding my hand.

At some point I began to wonder. Is she waiting on me? Is this a test? What’s the protocol here? The only thing I knew in that moment was that Dolly Parton was holding my hand.

I fumbled through more conversation until she leaned in and said, “I’m not letting go of your hand.”

I smirked and said, “I don’t want you to, Dolly.”

22k removable window grill — designed, hand wax-carved, and brought to life entirely from scratch.

For this piece, we chose 22k gold to follow Kurdish jewelry tradition, where high-karat gold represents heritage, identity, and everyday art. The warmth and richness of 22/24k gold carries a presence that lower karats simply can’t replicate.

I hand-carved the wax design myself before it was cast by a jewelry casting house in NYC, transforming a one-of-one concept into wearable gold art. Removable, custom, and built to feel more like heirloom jewelry than a traditional grill.

Every custom piece starts as an idea, a sketch, or even just a feeling.

Dream smiles don’t come from default settings.
They come from knowing the rules well enough to break them beautifully.

Chaz was never meant to blend into the background.
His smile shouldn’t either.

My job is to help bring out the smile you’ve been carrying in your head — the one you picture in the mirror, the one you worry you’d never have, the one younger you deserved all along.

And this one is unmistakably his.
