- Third place for a slow afternoon. No loud music, no rush, just a whole lot of sunlight, books, birds and some cats napping around, reminding us to slow down.

Most aesthetic cafes look the same now. Same beige, same fluted wood, same overpriced menu especially CROISSANTS!!

An aesthetic cafe can look incredible in a photo/video and still feel empty.
Character comes from identity, the owner, the story, the choices, the imperfections, the people, the atmosphere. Everything is intentional.

Expensive doesn’t automatically mean meaningful..these cafes spend heavily on interiors, furniture, lighting, ceramics etc and yet nothing feels personal, there’s nothing for you to emotionally connect with. I love good design, I really do but something feels off about these spaces.

Serenity, in the middle of the city.

Qasr Al Hosn ,Abu Dhabi’s oldest historic building.

It began in the 1760s as a watchtower built to protect the freshwater sources on the island. Over time, it grew into a fort, became the home of the ruling family and the seat of government until 1966.

In 1981, the Cultural Foundation opened right next to it — home to the city’s first National Library, performance auditorium and exhibition centre. For generations of people who grew up here, it became part of everyday life, from books and exhibitions to music and the arts.

From a source of water in the desert to towers reflected in water.

- This place is full of character, so many stories to capture, and so many people from all walks of life, each carrying their own ambitions, hopes and dreams. Somehow, all of this energy becomes part of the place itself.

- One of the best places in the UAE to experience really great coffee, roasted fresh in-house. They also offer a great selection of beans from all around the world to take home.

The beautiful coffee frames on the wall add even more character to the place.

My thoughts :

A really warm cafe right in the middle of a residential area. The moment you step inside, it feels like you’re somewhere tropical, almost like Bali.

The beautiful interiors and all the natural light coming through make the space feel even warmer and more inviting.
It also has a small collection of books.

Perfect space if you enjoy your own company.
