Eleventh Space Icon.

We made this the way we make a room.

Structure first. Then proportion, weight, and the places where two things meet and have to agree. taken in London, United Kingdom by @theeleventhspace

There is always a wild card.

The unexpected choice. The piece that shifts the balance, creates tension, or takes a room somewhere we hadn’t planned.

It can’t be prescribed at the beginning of a project. You know it when you find it.

Every Eleventh Space needs one. taken in London, United Kingdom by @theeleventhspace

Eleventh Space did not begin in 2026. It is the evolution of over a decade spent designing, building and refining a point of view.

What comes next is narrower and deeper.

Fewer projects. prime residential and hospitality interiors, in London and internationally. Each one led by Omar Bhatti, from first conversation to final detail. taken in London, United Kingdom by @theeleventhspace

Chapter Eleven.

@SpaceShackldn gave me a over a decade, more than eighty projects, and the foundation for everything that comes next. It is still here, and it made this possible.

After eleven years, I wanted to create something that reflected where I am now - a more personal expression of how I see, feel and approach design.

Eleventh Space is that next chapter. taken in London by @theeleventhspace

Eleventh Space.

A London design house working across prime residential and hospitality interiors.

We start with the person, not the room. How they live, how they move, how they want to feel. Material, light and detail follow - layered to create spaces that are experienced as much as they are seen.

The beauty is in the unseen. taken in London, United Kingdom by @theeleventhspace

Stone. Plaster. Textile.
Everything else is decoration.

Today marks eleven years of @spaceshackldn .

Eleven years designing, building and coordinating homes across London, with clients who trusted us with their space and makers who got the detail right.

Thank you, all of you.

I do not believe in details for their own sake. Every choice in a house should be able to answer “why” with something better than “it looked good in a photograph”.

When a detail has a reason behind it, it still works in ten years. When it does not, it starts to look like decoration within six months. taken in London by @theeleventhspace

Expensive is not the same as considered.

Excess is easy. You can buy your way to a room that announces its own budget in about a week. The harder thing is restraint: the surface left plain so the one good piece in the room has somewhere to sit, the joinery nobody notices consciously but everybody feels, the three things you decided not to do. If a room is shouting, something usually went wrong a long way upstream.

This is the conversation I have most often, and it almost never ends with spending more. It ends with spending differently, and with adjusting until every decision left in the room can justify itself. taken in London by @theeleventhspace

The brief is only the beginning.

Most of this job is listening properly and hearing what sits underneath the answer. The drawing part is the easier half. Getting the right information out of somebody will decide whether a house ends up being a real reflection of them or just a tidy version of what they thought to ask for. by @theeleventhspace
