My heart has been heavy this season for so many reasons but somehow, God still gives me the strength to show up.Dedicating this episode to my Uncle Buwa, my Aunty Gbugbemi and my Cousin Mute who have transition to the realm which was, before this one began.If you feel like giving up, I get it. I am there with you in that same feeling but somehow I still hold on to the word for the purpose for which I am. A blessing, A safe space, A gift from God who still trusts and does all he can to obey.I don't even know how to encourage you in this season. But I know a spirit who can. He is holy and true and is with us who believe in the Love of God.This piece hits so many emotions in me. I think about those I love who have transitioned to the other side. I think about when I eventually stand before Him face to face, seeing all the wonders I have read about. I think about the weight that comes with the gift I carry, the hopes and dreams that seem delayed, and how quickly time seems to move.More than anything, it makes me ask myself:When my own race is finished, what will be said of the life I lived?Will it be known that I loved imperfectly well?Will it be known that I served faithfully though imperfect?Will it be known that I used the gifts He entrusted to me for His glory?Will I hear WELL DONE THOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. I stopped creating on this level for a while.Not because the gift left…but because the reward I expected didn’t arrive when I thought it should.I told myself people weren’t connecting.Maybe my voice didn’t land.Maybe I hadn’t found my people yet.So I paused.Not fully gone, just quieter than I was called to be.And then I was reminded:obedience isn’t validated by applause.It’s validated by alignment.This is me choosing expression again without guarantees, without pretending, without waiting for permission.If this stirred something in you…If you’ve been holding back a part of yourself because it didn’t “pay off” fast enough…save this.Come back to it when fear sounds reasonable.You don’t need to be fully ready.You just need to be honest. by @spaceshipboi
