I've always been a "trial by fire" sort of learner in fiber arts. So here I am, trying to freehand a top-down raglan-style wizard robe in Tunisian crochet. I've done maybe three other Tunisian projects so far.

I will not be releasing a pattern for this because quite frankly I'm not qualified. I'm doing this to learn how garment construction works because I want to start building up more of my own wardrobe. And since it's a wizard robe, all of the imperfections and mistakes will be part of the charm.

Funnily enough, I also started learning to knit this week. Made a couple of swatches, and I'm likely to try making a belt in the near future and experiment with stranded colorwork for holiday presents.

I lost the photo of the belts on the blocking boards. Wet blocking all of the individual pieces for this project took several days in real time. The fabric just didn’t want to dry out and so each piece had to stay on the boards for over 20 hours each. And I only have one set of blocking boards. by @spaghettistitchery
