The wait is almost over!! Who’s ready for new STRANGER THINGS tomorrow night!?!?! Holy moly I can’t believe it’s almost here and I can’t believe how much fun this Mash-up illustration was to do! It was also super challenging. There are so many different ages and great outfits for everybody that it was almost impossible to decide the perfect one. So I just went with my favorite rendition of each character. I also know that I left out a few fan faves - especially Murray and Alexi, but I sadly just ran out of room. OMG I can’t wait to see what happens! @strangerthings.things #strangerthings #strangerthings5 #strangerthings4 #strangerthings2 #eleven #milliebobbybrown #strangerthingsfan #strangerthingsfanart #hopper #hawkins #hawkinsindiana #winonaryder #netflix #vecna #demogorgon #fanart #peanuts #mashup #strangerthingsedit @stanger_things_fanpage33 by @spaghettitoesdad

It’s been a while since I’ve done a “Peanuts” mash-up, but here’s a new one - this time with “Tyler, The Creator” Tyler is without a doubt Harper’s favorite musician and has been for years. She even got to see him live earlier this year on his “Chromakopia” tour (I was supposed to go too, but had freakin’ influenza... ugh). Tyler has so many fun looks and is a fashion icon - so this mash-up was a no-brainer and so much fun to do. @feliciathegoat @tylerupdated #tylerthecreator #feliciathegoat #chromakopia #donttaptheglass @fkngoblin #peanuts #charliebrown #snoopy #mashup #fanart #tylerthecreatormemes by @spaghettitoesdad

In honor of the amazing “Fortnite / Gorillaz” collaboration released today - here’s the very first “Peanuts” mash-up I ever did back in 2017. Having a teenager that loves both “Fortnite” and “the Gorillaz” - this is a pretty fun day in the Spaghetti House. This is also the print that the great Jamie Hewlett reposted on his own Instagram page many years ago. One of my proudest moments as an artist. Here’s what I first wrote about this mash-up way back when ... explaining how we came up with this idea:

“Harper (then 7 years old) has recently become a big fan of the band the “Gorillaz”. She especially loves the artwork that accompanies the band. (If you’re not familiar, they have created four characters that show up in their videos and posters and album covers).
The other day she asked me if the Gorillaz and the Peanuts gang were all part of the same world. After thinking about it and knowing that Damon Albarn plays the piano and often wears striped shirts... I couldn’t resist a little mashup art for this one.” Other than the four main characters, that’s Damon Albarn on the piano, and Jamie Hewlett dancing around with the gang! @gorillaz @hewll @fortnite @damonalbarn #gorillaz #fortnite #jamiehewlett #damonalbarn #2d #murdoc #murdocniccals #noodle #russlehobbs #gorillazfanart #gorillazfan #peanuts #mashup by @spaghettitoesdad

We’re right smack dab in the middle of scary movie season, so I thought it’d be a good time to give my favorite movie monsters some love! I made sure to add in the original Tim Curry “Pennywise” this year as well! I did my best to fit in as many slashers and dolls and ghouls and clowns and ghosts as I could but I’m sure I still missed at least a couple. This piece also does not include all of the old black and white classic monsters but I’ve got one of those in my back pocket as well! Also, to those few random people who stole this from me over the last year... be better. #halloween #horror #horrormovie #jasonvorhees #michaelmyers by @spaghettitoesdad

Happy 33rd Birthday to “The Nightmare Before Christmas”! First released on this day, Oct. 13th, 1993. Is it a Halloween movie? Is it a Christmas movie? Is it... both? Either way, it’s always been one of my family’s favorite movies. We even re-watched it for the millionth time (not literally, that would be crazy) over the weekend. It’s just SO GOOD on every level and gets better every time we watch it. It’s also slightly unclear as to the official birthday of the movie, so I have another fun version planned for later this month! @the.nightmare.before_christmas @timburtonfilmes @timburtonalways @timburtonlifeintheline @timburton_universal #thenightmarebeforechristmas #jackskellington #jackandsally #timburton #nightmarebeforechristmas by @spaghettitoesdad

Oh my goodness I just heard the devastating news about the passing of RJ Mitte - who played Walt Jr. on Breaking Bad. He was one of the very best aspects of the entire series. I literally just saw a recent interview with him about how he landed the role and he looked so happy. Absolutely heartbreaking. (I am aware that RJ did not need crutches in real life... this is from a larger Breaking Bad illustration I did last year and just wanted to pay tribute to RJ.) #rjmitte #breakingbad #waltjr #walterwhite #bryancranston. @deanjnorris @bryancranston @vincegillofficial @aaronpaul by @spaghettitoesdad

So sad to hear about the passing of the legendary Mike Ditka. I was lucky enough to have worked with Mr. Ditka’s family designing clothing for their “Ditka Kids” line! It’s still one of the coolest things I’ve ever done in my professional life. I worked directly with Mr. Ditka’s daughter-in-law Stacy, who is quite possibly the nicest person on the planet. She even sent me a signed photo of Da Coach which I cherish to this day! Our deepest condolences go out to the entire Ditka family. We’ll miss you Iron Mike. #mikeditka #dabears #chicagobears #ditka #ironmike @chicagobears by @spaghettitoesdad

Shortly after the tragic passing of Oliver Tree earlier this year, I received a very sweet message from a heartbroken mom. Her son adored Oliver and was deeply affected by his loss. She asked me if I could create this portrait of Oliver for him and I instantly agreed. Together, they picked out each of the outfits and eras you see here. It was so sweet to work on this - I learned a lot about Oliver and quickly realized just how much he meant to so many people. Thank you both so much, I hope this artwork puts a smile on your faces. #olivertree #olivertreeart #olivertreefanart #peanuts #olivertreetribute @olivertree by @spaghettitoesdad
