my copenhagen/radio panini debut set. merry christmas ya filthy animals ❤️

my goal was to do a genre blending set that told a story between deep, soulful and gritty. i was recently watching a robert hood interview and he was talking a bit about rushing to cram everything into an hour and how it was super unnatural and took the whole point away from djing. ive really tried to take a step back from the mixer and let the tunes and slow blends speak for themselves. building tension and a immersive soundscape was the main goal for this one.

links in my bio. go have a listen ❤️

thank you to @ts_kahuna and @radio_panini for having me on. looking forward to playing some more around town :)

See our linktree for the mix! 🎧

For our 2nd mix of the year we welcome Tribe to the SG mix series.

Originally from Melbourne but now Copenhagen based, an avid record collector and DJ.

Here’s what he has to say about the mix… “Prepare for a deep, patiently unfurling session, stripped back yet heavy with intent. Spacious to the core, this one moves through minimal, dubbed-out synth techno, letting texture, restraint and atmosphere do the talking”

Enjoy!! by @spagn0lo

A record that reminds you why you fell in love with this music 🔮

Released in 1994 by Berlin’s Round One (aka Basic Channel), “I’m Your Brother” blends dub techno minimalism with deep house soul. warm, raw, and emotionally honest.

Simple words, huge impact. It’s not just a groove it’s a message.

A timeless reminder of what club culture is really about - connection, kinship, and that feeling when the music says everything you can’t.

A truely timeless classic. One for the heads, the hearts, and the dancefloor 🌀🫶🏼

melbourne’s been grey, cold and wet. all im craving is sunshine, day parties and open-air events.

here are a three 90s house cuts that deserve to be blasted under blue skies and a big sound system 🌞🔊

my favourite record in my collection 💆‍

picked this one up at @hhvrecords in berlin. nu life by @christianbrowne. i remembered hearing about this when it dropped, but kind of forgot about it. then seeing it in person, it was an instant “yep, this is coming home with me.” no hesitation.

it’s released on faith beat, which is @ryan.r.elliott label. ryan’s someone i’ve always looked up to. not just for his djing, which is razor sharp, but for the energy he brings. there’s a kind of understated confidence and joy to the way he plays. a true professional. he really knows how to make a room move without ever doing too much. i actually saw him play a couple weeks before i picked this record up, so it felt like a full-circle moment.

faith beat has quietly become one of those labels where, when something drops, i listen. past releases from artists like @marceldettmann and @evanbaggs have all had that mix of groove and depth that sits in the pocket perfectly. it’s a label that doesn’t chase trends, it’s just solid taste.

christian ab feels cut from the same cloth. i’ve followed him for a while. his sets are fluid and brave, always reaching for that perfect balance between energy and emotion. but beyond the decks, he seems like someone who truly lives and breathes the music. no gimmicks, just someone deeply tuned in to the culture. this record really shows that. it’s precise but soulful, stripped back but full of feeling.

the track i’m highlighting is the title track “Nu Life.” it’s warm, rolling, and deep party groover. it has that rare quality of being deep without getting lost, meditative without going flat. whether you’re on a dancefloor or walking alone through a city at night, it just works.

it hasn’t left my bag since i bought it. it’s that kind of record where every time you come back to it, it gives you something new. emotional, versatile, and built to last.

agony forces – wild innocence

most people who’ve seen me play probably just associate me with house music. especially from this series or the gigs i’ve done. but, i’ve always had a real love for techno and not just any techno. stuff like this.

wild innocence is proper head-down, eyes closed gear. it’s gritty, hypnotic, stripped right back, but still has so much movement in it. cold and mechanical but with this weird warmth underneath. the tension in it just builds and builds though never chaotic, but always driving. feels like it was made for long blends in dark rooms. berlin, tbilisi, kyiv that 5am energy.

agony forces is a duo from spain formed up of p.e.a.r.l. and james sharin and they’ve been doing this kind of moody, textured and loopy techno since the mid-2000s. p.e.a.r.l.’s solo stuff is just as solid, and they’ve linked up with og’s like oscar mulero and ancient methods, so they fall right into that deep, rhythm focused, late night kind of sound.

this one dropped on ‘end of dayz’ run by don @djbruceleeone. a spanish label that’s quietly been putting out heat from names like pushmann and kaiser. it’s all deep, percussive and minimalistic. the kind of stuff you might not know unless you’re digging, but once you find it, it sticks with you.

i’ve been leaning into this sound more lately, so if you see me posting or playing a bit harder than usual, this is why.
