Still processing an incredible weekend. Grateful for good friends, time on the water, and the kind of memories that only come from years of fishing together. Fishing has a way of keeping us going, but it’s the people you share it with that make it mean something. The amount of stories I have with these guys is priceless, and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

The kind of days I never want to rush.

Slow mornings, dirty hands, old Land Cruisers, bugs to find, baby goats to love, and watching our little boy grow up with all of it around him.

A bittersweet opening day.

My first without my dad. I’ll never forget telling him we were moving out to a little farm with a pond. The first words out of his mouth were, “Yes, we can dove hunt.”

This year was my son’s first true opening day, right here on our own property. A day I’ll always remember, but one that was hard without Dad here to share it with us.
