10.10.2026 was a day of celebration, a union between @asya_simmons and Kody. The love between family and friends was tangible. There was no wedding coordinator…this was all envisioned and planned by my daughter and her besties since high school, @seashellsoul and @erin___b. Thank you for helping this special event happen. I already gained a son the first day I met Kody, and told him he would become my son-in-law! Special thanks to @spankee2 who is the best Bonus Dad anyone could ask for. Congratulations to Asya and Kody !! We wish you both a lifetime filled with love, travels, good food & wines, and adventures! by @spankee2
This video is a reminder to all those ignorant people who say “go back to your country” to learn to appreciate these hard workers who have made many sacrifices to perform this type of necessary manual labor in 100 degree heat that those same ignorant people refuse to do. #theamericandream #theamericannightmare #purochamba #deytookerjerbs by @spankee2
1 week countdown to celebrating your nuptials!! We love you both so much and can’t wait to celebrate with you guys at your wedding reception! by @spankee2
Some friends & family have expressed concerns when we go to Mexico, and we understand. Bad things happen everywhere, including in our own country!! We have never felt unsafe in all the years we’ve visited different states in Mexico. If anything, the people are welcoming, kind, hospitable and friendly. . Did you know that the Global Peace Index ranks the U.S. 134th out of 163 countries? . If you have the urge to explore, go see the world. 🌎 Traveling and connecting with people is the best classroom we can attend to broaden our perspective. . #Mexico #ValleDeGuadalupe #Ensenada #Rosarito #Tijuana by @spankee2
Someone needs to sign them asap. Mexico’s Got Talent! The literal translation is below. #mexicoborder #Tiajuana #fastpass **Translation used:** - 0:00 - “I see you looking fresh with that beard, you should be a health model” - 0:06 - “You look so elegant, even under the sun / You’re having a very elegant day” - 0:12 - “You win, hands down, always rapping / That’s the truth” - 0:18 - “The lady brings the heat, you can tell she did double braids” - 0:24 - “Hope it goes great for you, always rapping with the vibe” - 0:28 - “The young lady spends her paycheck but on her manicure” - 0:31 - “Rubbing my neck, I think the one who passed was Gary” - 0:33 - “I hope we go” The Spanish is freestyle rap / slang so this is a natural English version rather than word-for-word. by @spankee2
Having breakfast at La Cocina Doña Esthela has been on my bucket list as there’s been countless positive reviews and this restaurant has a Michelin star. I didn’t know that Gordon Ramsey and Andrew Zimmerman had also eaten there until I saw the pics on the wall. There are so many great farm-to-table restaurants in the Valle and everything tastes so much better, from the freshly squeezed juices to the bacon. by @spankee2
México is not for everyone. It’s for vivid explorers who want to taste deeply, wander farther, celebrate louder, and discover a country that can never be described in a single story. From its landscape, traditions, culture, people, and unmistakable energy, this is the México we love. 🇲🇽 . This time we stayed at the cabins at Don Tomas Viñedo in the Valle. It was a rustic, relaxing experience. The vineyard was surrounded by countless farm-to-table restaurants and other vineyards. . Hasta luego México! We will be back for Thanksgiving weekend! 🫶🏼❤️ . #ValleDeGuadalupe #Ensenada #Rosarito #BajaCaliforniaMexico #DonTomasViñedo by @spankee2
Caesar’s Restaurante in Tijuana, México is often our first go to once we’ve crossed the border. This is a fine dining restaurant established in 1924, and where chef Cèsar Cardini made the original caesar salad. This restaurante has set the bar so high for a Caesar salad, I have to ask for a sample of any other restaurant’s dressing before ordering it. . We had escargots in a garlic butter sauce, beef carpaccio, Caesar salad made table side, ribeye with a peppercorn sauce, fish with potatoes and duck tacos. . Have you been to Caesar’s in TJ? If so, what is your favorite dish to order? by @spankee2
