We’re not here to copy the norm. 🙅 We’re not hung up on flexing our own tactical muscle to win games. Or holding players back to win junior trophies. 🤦‍♂️ We’re focused on stretching our players. Teaching and giving them the tools for their future selves. And holding them accountable to their own success. 🎯 We’re not here for us. ❌ We’re here for them. 👊 We’re here for their LONG-TERM potential AND love for the game. ❤️ We’re HERE to create … The Spark! ⚡️ #sparkfutbol #pumafootball #football #soccer #futbol #calcio #youthsoccer #juniorsoccer #youthfootball #youthdevelopment #soccerskills #soccerskill #nextgen #riseup #bethespark taken in Sydney, Australia by @spark_futbol

The POWER of the DIAGONAL! The Spark Futbol Methodology & Curriculum is built on an intellectual development foundation. Ralf Rangnick recently said … “The future is all about “train the brain", i.e. cognitive training: provoking players, coaxing them out of their comfort zone in training, exposing them to difficult conditions, and asking them to make snap decisions in a confined space under time pressure." We agree! But, it’s easier said than done (and trained!). Not so for our Spark Academy players - who get direct access to our ‘Player Pattern Recognition’ training at every session! One of the Patterns we push our players in seeing and executing is the DIAGONAL! But not just the pass. That’s the end-product. It’s the vision, the movement, the runs, the touch, the speed, the execution … Everything that is required - on and off the ball by the individual - to effectively execute for the collective. Simple. Yet so powerful. If developed. In the player. This is the Spark! ⚡️ #sparkfutbol #pumafootball #nextgen #riseup #bethespark taken in Sydney, Australia by @spark_futbol

Europe Match Day 5👇 Spark 🆚 Aston Villa 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 The final MD of our European Tour was something very very special. A flagship game, against an iconic football club, to wrap up an unbelievable tour! As our young Sparks went toe to toe with Aston Villa’s U12 Academy for 80mins across 4 quarters. And what a game it was … With Spark opening the scoring early on. Going up 1-0 after just 10mins following some seriously high intensity attack and defence. Before Villa equalised in injury time of the first quarter. Villa then showed their quality as some of the world’s best U12s put on a dazzling display of dribbling, combinations and finishing. Going up 4-1 in the second quarter. Spark then used the halftime break to reset and compose. Especially defensively. Proving in-penetrable in the third quarter. With everything on the line both sides continued to go at it in the final quarter. With a number of near misses and big saves. Before both sides scored two fantastic goals! Final score … VILLA 5️⃣ SPARK 2️⃣ A red letter day in the history of Spark Futbol. As our players competed and matched some of the world’s best players in their age group for 80mins. Drawing 3 quarters and only losing one. Thank you to Aston Villa and their staff for providing our young players an experience that most could only ever dream of. What a day. What a moment in time. 8 •10•26 🗓️ @astonvilla 🤝 @spark_futbol What a way to finish our European training experience! As one of the UK’s (and the worlds!) most recognised Academies opened their doors into the world class Bodymoore Heath training facility. A privilege usually only reserved to Aston Villa 1st Team and Academy players. But here we are! In a further sign of respect, the sessions were run by the very highest calibre of Villa Youth Academy coaches and technical staff. A once in a lifetime experience for our players and staff. Thank you and Up the Villa! This is the Spark! ⚡️⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 taken in Bodymoor Heath Villa Training Ground by @spark_futbol

One player says a country and the other says a football club, PART 4 – this time with the Australians from Spark Futbol Club. First to correctly name a player to play for both gets a point, first to three wins. Admin for Coaches’ Voice Tours got in on the game again for a tough result. by @spark_futbol
